Does anyone have any info on if/when Ford will make the Voodoo engine available as a crate package? Any guesses on price?

Also, is its overall size/dimensions the same as the Coyote?

I ask because I'm trying to decide if it's worth waiting on opposed to sticking with my Coyote plans for a '68 Fastback protouring/restomod project I have going.

See this thread from PRI displays. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38775

Flat plane short block probably won't ever be available because of vibration issues. But you can buy everything but the crank from Ford Performance and use a stock Coyote crank in its place.

I think this was a warranty replacement part but a parts counter friend told me $18k for the engine... I suspect this might have been a longblock.

Don't forget the $2,000 core charge on that as well ;)

Simple answer is to get the cross plane version of the 5.2L. It has everything but the lighter crank, for far less hassle.
