e85 is fine on the pump and injectors on 18's, 18s have dual injection. With a good tune its no problem I believe. Sometimes I do add some ethanol fuel treatment or seafoam to keep stuff lubed but since I drive every day the fuel never has a chance to gum up anything. If I was parking the car for 3 weeks or longer I would switch back to 93 though and store it with 93. E85 also runs cooler and keeps the engine cooler, it has benefits and also makes 40 hp or so extra since its like 105 octane while also being cheaper than even 87 octane here, its only 2.11 a gallon here in Florida.I'm talking from a fuel system point of view, not tune. Can the fuel pump handle the added volume? What about the injectors?
I know my coyote f150 was flex fuel compatible and I think the fuel system in modern cars is good enough to handle alcohol content. Almost all gas has atleast 10% ethanol anyway.
My MPG is about 11.8 though lol
