I think Shell has the best gasoline as they have nitrogen based cleaners which is good for the engine.

Their top of the line Premium Shell V Nitro Plus seems to be the best gasoline.

For 2019 Mustang GT, I see that using premium gas gives the most fun to me.

What gas do you use and why?

Car seems a bit more peppy to me with premium. Will probably only use it in the summer though. Haven't had it long enough to see how regular does in the winter.

I always run 93 but I just picked up a Lund nGauge so I'll be trying out E85 soon.

I noticed a small ping at startup when I use 87. It's very small, reminds me of what some of the engines sounded like in the 80s when first started. That's gone with 93.

I always use the lowest octane recommended for my engine. I buy at a gas station that is convenient rather than going to a specific location or brand. I wouldn't mind paying more for gas if it made a significant difference, but I've never found a significant difference in performance.

I've also never had a fuel related problem with any modern car I've owned. And I'm including 80s vehicles when I say "modern".

I use premium because of all additives and higher quality. It is more small increase in power but only little bit. I do it to care for engine more.
Most premium fuel has no more additives than regular fuel and is of no higher quality.

If you want better additives, only fuel up with stations that are Top Tier rated.
