Figured I make a short post. Added the Radium Engineering S550 coolant overflow to ditch the stock hideous bubble tank. What a difference!

Looks really good. Probably the nicest aftermarket tank I have seen. How's the capacity on it? I can't really tell how deep it is from the photos.

Great question… and here is another one:
Is there enough room for the Ford Performance Oil Separator with this tank?

I actually started another thread on this very topic. The quantity of this tank is a bit lower than stock, but that doesn’t really mean anything. It’s an expansion tank. It’s not part of the quantity circulating through the engine/radiator under normal working conditions, thus no impact on cooling or performance. Only thing I don’t like about it is the radiator cap. 1st world problems; I know! It’s the best looking tank out there though.

Actually an expansion tank is part of the circulating cooling system. Instead of the fluid in the radiator expanding and contracting as what it used to do in the past, the expansion tank does this job now, leaving the radiator to be full all the time. Also allows self bleeding to occur.

My concern is not the reduction of coolant capacity in terms of reduced cooling efficiency, more if the tank isn't big enough, will it be puking overflow when you get hot on the track. But I just checked on their site, and it's 750ml, so should be ok.

Good catch! I'd be curious to know as well if it clears the FP Oil Seperator on the GT350. Would be a deal breaker for me if it did not unfortunately.

Looking at their web page it's not going to fit anyway. Me thinks the Steeda/Moroso manufactured tank, a better choice.

"Ford Performance Oil Separator" not a snowballs chance, it's sitting right where it would live.

The mounting bracket is hideous, but MOP might be biased . LMAO

Both Steeda/Morosa clear the FP Oil Seperator?

Did not post they would not ?

The subject :"Radium Engineering"

Preferred and more likely to fit the car Dave is driving.

Man if it didn't have thier name on it three different places that would be awesome
The cap has to be purchased separately so that’s why it has their logo on it also. It’s just a sticker. You have to buy the 1.5 Bar cap for the s550 cooling system.

Yeah...that's what I mean to say! LOL. Along the same lines;)

And yes, look at that last pic...that thing will absolutely clear a catch can.

The tank dumps coolant over board, different design than the football . Early model Mustang, late model recirculates coolant .

FYI
