Ok I received both the Fluidyne and Mishimoto GT/GT350 radiator to compare them.....the fabrication is top notch on both however I measured the overall size of the core radiator portion (middle part that contains the triplepass)...

Fluidyne: 1.75"x20.125"x25.375" = 894 inches3 volume

Mishimoto: 2"x19.875"x25.5" = 1014 inches3 volume

So I decided to go with the larger Mishimoto....

Great size comparison! Please add the part numbers for the rad's you purchased so we are aware, it helps.

2 tips for potential Mishimoto customers -

1) Mishimoto radiators come with a Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser. Once you receive the radiator, register it on their site.

2) Search Mishimoto on Amazon, they have an Amazon store. Search using the exact Mishimoto Radiator part number. If you have any Amazon discounts or "perks" or qualify for any, those can be applied. Plus free shipping. I purchased my Mishimoto for my 94 Cobra about 5 Mos ago on Amazon and my total OTD price was far less than any Mustang vendor found online.

Plus I believe the Mishi is a simple, single pass radiator. Some of the Fluidyne are dual/triple pass, and I believe this gets into requiring high flow high volume water pumps. Correct me if I misspoke.

MISHI is a 3 row rad and largest out there in volume

Mishi is a three row radiator. That does not mean triple pass. Not the same thing. Mishi has three rows that run through the core, but the water makes one pass.

So in your opinion for road course track and on a supercharged gt350 which will cool best triple pass 2 row like CSF and Kenny brown or single pass 3 row like Mishimoto and fluidyne? ....but I heard the triple pass pressure drop can be an issue?

Come up to a mile high in elevation and north of a 100 in the summer. Aftermarket radiators are NOT eye candy. Wether in a car or trucks you work, an insufficient radiator will kill the motor, plain and simple.

Aftermarket rads are definitely eye candy but I'd do oil cooler first as well, or first if limited space or budget.

Reach out to Honeybadger. Specifics of this or that aren’t as important as capacity.

I don't know which one technically works the best, but like I mentioned earlier, when you start getting into real two row, and especially three row radiators, pressure does become your problem, in that a stock water pump is insufficient. I can't imagine a large, quality single pass aftermarket radiator won't do the job. I know from experience what they do on a NA engine and it's impressive.

Even if the stock radiator technically keeps the coolant temps where they should be, it's the second order effects from these aftermarket radiators that impress me and IMO, make them worth the price of admission.

Fluidyne has a 3-row single pass option and a true 3-pass race version as well for the Shelby's. They state no modification is needed for the 3-pass, but there's only one way to find out.

The question I have is what works best for a supercharged car......a 3 row singlepass or a triplepass?

Finally gonna start this weekend project. Already have one in my S197, but still what a very nice piece. Canton tank (otw) will compliment it nicely.

I didn't really think cooling was an issue on these cars, but as I've gotten more familiar with the car tracking it, I noticed I was over 250 oil temperature during the later sessions of the day. Starting to keep an eye out on these.

I don’t think it is an issue. It’s just a cool
Mod. BUT…after putting it in my S197, I noticed two thing right away; much more stable, easier maintained temps at the lower end (it doesn’t run any cooler, but it sure stays there a lot easier, if that makes sense), and noticeably decreased under hood temps in general. Will those repeat on this thing?? We bout to find out.
