On my 2021 GT500 I have the intermittent "exhaust mode selection unavailable" error......The dealer changed both actuators and the harness same issue now they want to replace the PCM....any advice here?
Anyone tried the Steeda pretuned DSC controller? Should be a nice setup considering they track tuned it apparently.

Nankang CRS is the only choice if you track your GT500 per my research I will give it a try 305 fronts and 325 rears
305 rears are worthless for traction
Also I will test out the steeda dual rate springs on track...lowers the car nicely and handling is improved on the street compared to oem...
I have many track days on my procharged gt350 and ran 305/19 fronts and 325/19 rears.....hands down the goodyear sc3 and sc3R were the best grip.....cup2 I didn't like got greasy after 2 laps and kept sliding
Now with the 20 wheels on gt500 we are stuck with small goodyear sc3 rears 305/20...
my opinion is that lowering springs (need balance with street comfort and track) and a 325 rear tire setup should fix all issues.....worked perfect on track and I kept up with gt3's and 911 turbos......with the 630whp gt350 (plus its manual)
I tracked my procharged 350 for 1 year+ maybe 15 track days....and was thinking of tracking my gt500 now.......my experience is yes you need to lower center of gravity.....so I installed steeda dualrate springs.....but these cars need fat rears to handle power......I used 305/19 fronts and...
Anyway this foam removal didnt make a difference on butt dyno....in traffic IAT went from 86 to 92+
Personally I would need to see a before and after JLT dragy 1/4 test or rolling test to beleive it works.....dyno with open hood wont do it
no matter how big filter and tube.....the bottleneck with how much new air is in the restricted box........thats why on the dyno you get 60hp+ gains (no restiction of box)
I will test this out and see..... the point is cold air should enter above the headlight as car is moving and allow more flow to the K&N filter with foam removed.......and dealer wont complain about the aftermarket box.... (hood pins should prevent the "hood flutter" )
I dont see how the JLT is getting more air than oem....the front ram air duct is the same size as oem? and the top is sealed with the hood? .... also dealer says they will void engine warranty with aftermarket intake :( another reason I didnt get this
I already researched this....all dyno's are done with hood open and cold air.......another youtuber tested the quarter mile before and after with the top lid removed(hot air intake) and it ran slower than oem sealed box
Anyone notice the foam and why it's there...I assume for emissions etc......if you remove foam you can see cold air will be available coming from the removal of the plastic trim sealing the driver side headlight.....what do you all think...
We know removal of the intake lid will allow too much...
Hands down get a lightweight lithium battery...I ran it for 2 years no issues on my prior gt350....just got one for the gt500....you save 30+ lbs
Antigravity Batteries ATX20-HD 900CCA Heavy Duty Lithium Ion Battery
dont think so ...Steeda installed the springs and the steeda camber plates ......and removed the oem front camber plates...they aligned it for track specs -2.5 camber fronts and -1.7 rears
Just got the Steeda dual rates installed on my 21 GT500.....drives like oem on the street and handles better on turns.....need to try them on the track now to test it out......but the stance is perfect lowers the height just right.
