Today found some time to drop front facia/bumper. First off with the driver side wheel liner. Once opened up quickly noticed this small cable lanyard taped to the lower side of the radiator. Im' sure it serves a purpose & thought it would be easiest to ask here first. Here's a picture. Thanks, Rex

Forgot to ask. What do you guys do about the plastic push pins that attach any of these plastic parts to the body, reuse or get some new ones? Thanks-A-Bunch!

While I'm at it thought I'd pass this along to you. Think it was a walmart item, $10. Makes it e-z!

I have had bad luck reusing the push pins, some just seem like they aren’t snug any more, they have different sizes I believe for different sites, got new ones, but had to go to dealer cause I couldn’t figure out part number for the different ones

it's used during assembly as a pull through.

Thanks Harold. Kind'a figured it had something to do with assembly. Can you tell me how to get that electrical plug for the headlights undone. It's the one with the little red button. I've tripped the red button but it is still being contrary!

I remember those being a pain. I think you have to pull the red tape straight back. If not you have to press down to disengage the plastic locking tab. Either way the first time around it takes some finagling to get them off. PAIN.

Got it! Thanks!

Couple of thoughts, never really took the time to look at splitter last summer. Several of the small screws were missing & the ones that attached it to the frame appears to have come out of a drawer at the dealership.
#2 Would be easy to imagine that this process should take place annually to clean out ALL of the small gravel & clean the radiator & coolers from bugs. Geesh amazing how much came out of it with only 1K driving!

Cool, we have a factory installed tow cable :inspect:.

@zzrat - key thing about the trim tools is "non-marring' HF has them for cheap, too!.
