Got my Quick Jack 5000 LTX Bundle with Pinch Weld Pucks and extended 2-year warranty for $1,675.00 plus tax, free delivery. Bendpak had a $375 off for Black Friday so I pulled the trigger.

Thanks to all the good advice in this thread.

I'd use a jacking rail. I think BMRs is longer than steedas. I have the extended one as it worked better on my 13 GT500. On the 21 GT it's a bit too long so I have to use the rubber block in the inside of the pinch weld where the steeda or bmr brace connects

I am totally getting Jacking Rails. Right now the pinch weld blocks fit inside the side skirts perfectly. But still must get jacking rails.

I’m picking these up soon. Are the pinch weld pucks they sell not sufficient? Wondering about the necessity of a jacking rail or the ZL1 blocks…

I have the jacking rails on the one Mustang and ZL1 Addons Mustang Stealth Lift Pads that screw over the pinch welds, on the other Mustang. I somehow prefer the ZL1 Lift Pads to the jacking rail. Something to look into and see which is best for your purposes.

Can't tell if you're at full height, but for what it's worth, the manual specifically says not to raise the jacks to full height when unloaded....

We had 5 people standing on them, about 1000 pounds then I took the picture when they jumped off. Was checking for leaks at the time. Wasn't putting a car under them without a test. It says to make sure they come up at the same time. Made sure that happened too. All is good, used them over a dozen times now. Got more fleet maintenance this weekend.

I have the 7000 TL and have been using them extensively for my other car (I don't track my Mustang).

One mistake I made during installation is I raised the jacks under no weight. Please do dont this lol. Also buy like 3 bottles of Transmission fluid.

When connecting the hose into the main power unit, if you get resistance hold down on the controller while you plug in the coupler and it will go in.

Mine has been working fine but recently one of the couplers have been starting to leak fluid randomly. Its been awhile since I setup mine so I'll need to read the manual again.

Yep, I had two people stand on the stand just to get them to lower. And yes, always clean the ends of the couplers prior to connecting them.

I had the same thing happen. The couplers are very cheaply made (chinesium). apparently you are suppose to use them if you need to or not. Its usually the couplers on the power unit that fail. They want a million dollars for the the Quick Jack OEMS. I bought 2 pairs of enerpak couplers for the price of a single fitting.

The cylinders fail, namely the air cylinder that slows down the decent

Waa using my quickjack while doing track prep on my other car and this started happening.

It oozes out from the screws whenever I raise it. I think the power unit is failing lol

Everything else works fine. Its just the power unit that will just ooze out the fluid whenever I go up with it. It will ooze out and then stop

what I mean by use them, they want you to use the Jacks at least once every 3 months
