PREORDER OPEN FOR GT350R's WING!

Most of us are understanding, and I for one completely understand that the demand is way above the supply, but when are all you are getting as answers is, next week, the following week, and so on, you start to feel irritated. At least I did. PMs went unanswered, no real updates. Transparency, all it takes was a real true response off what the current situation is.

I'm still following the Track Pack thread because I will definitely be ordering one once it becomes available, but we were just promised updates with no actual updates.

I completely agree with you. I'm not saying that things have been handled the best way, or even the way I would have handled them, but what ever the reason, it is being handled. These guys were stuck with something that is out of their control, and understand that this hurts them. After a nice chat with Sam last night they ARE trying. I know this does nothing for anyone else, but Sam made me feel better about the whole situation. (And I was gonna drive 9 hrs out there just to get this straightened out)

I'm ok with waiting. I remember when I ordered that it was a "preorder". That meant they didn't exist yet. I've only had the car for a couple of months. I'll have it for a least another year. I can still drive it without the added downforce for awhile.. Put me on he list of buyers that waits until everything is perfect.

I GOT MY WING!
It is not as heavy as I thought it would be. My initial take is that it's awesome. It is most definitely a part you are going to wanna paint. The matte looks good, but I think things may leave marks on it. I noticed some things that will need attention, and I have already spoke with Sam@carbondynamics about them, but they are things that come with fiberglass. Small pin holes. Packing, well it was wrapped up pretty tight. But the corners got damaged in shipping. It is my understanding that CD did not do the packing. And that is also being addressed. But Sam is making it better on his end for me. I do plan on working on everything tonight for test fit and plan to take pictures along the way. I will post a write up later this weekend. All in all, I'm happy with everything. I'm posting what I have found and letting everyone know what to expect so we or carbon don't have a huge uprising again. There is stuff to expect with fiberglass. My suggestion, paint it. I think Carbon did an outstanding job, and the only issue I really have is out of their hands. VERY GOOD JOB GUYS!

I have a history with fiberglass, so understanding that it's a pain to get into those corners. I'm gonna try and fix it.

Glad to hear you've received your spoiler- can't wait to see some pictures.

As I previously stated I would rather have a quality product with no damage and defects even if I have to wait for it. to a certain extent.

Per my e-mail to Carbon Dynamics, I'm hoping they inspect and make sure my spoiler is in perfect condition. My Mustang is a show car in which I've invested too much money. I will be posting pictures when it has been completed.
