Seems a little high from my limited experience. Pretax my xpel install was right at $4000 for all the same coverage you got except no A pillars and no window tint. And ceramic over everything including wheels and calipers. Wouldn’t hurt to shop around but I also would rather pay a little more to have it done by a good crew. One of the shops I got a quote from looked like I had walked into the D block of the state prison. I felt confident they would wrap the car with xpel but it might be sitting on blocks when I went to pick it up lolPretty sure that's pre-tax.
Yeah, this is the go-to shop for all high end cars, Ferrari's, Lambos, Mclaren's, you name it, they've done it. 10 year warranty on XPEL film. I might bite the bullet and pay the extra dollar knowing it will be done perfectly and they don't accept less than that. Plus side they've already done one Mach 1 just like the one I'm getting so they're familiar.
I think so but I'm asking them. Yeah, I want it done as well due to the brake dust. I know how insane it was on my 17 GT PP. I might do rotors and pads over the winter just to rid myself of this problem. The rest of the car stays really clean but the damn wheels can go from show quality to neglected looking in a couple miles.I think so but I'm asking them. I forgot to mention my instal also included the sides below the stripes. I would absolutely do the area in front of the rear quarters. Take a look at any used gt350 on the lot and that area is trashed. I skipped the A pillars as my guy didn’t think it was necessary. He has enough experience with mustangs not to mention his own gt500 so I trust him. It’s a tough amount of cash all at once to swallow but I’m glad I did it. Maybe next spring I’ll have him do the roof, doors and anything else that wasn’t done in round 1 so the whole car is protected. I know there's other skilled installers who do great work for less. I feel like I'm paying more for the name/experience than anything.
I'm going for full front PPF including the matte piece on the vinyl decal, rear deck lid, possibly rear quarters/pillars if the price is alright.

So I got a quote of $2800 for full front XPEL done (with the hood matte with a manual cut over that), $900 for the rear quarters\A-pillar, $150 for the deck lid. $1400 for 3-year Ceramic (Feynlab) and $650 for ceramic window tint (XPEL). Man prices are high on this stuff but this is also one of the top shops in the Austin area and have very skilled PPF installers/coaters. Didn't imagine almost spending $5,000 to protect it but I don't think I want to get rid of this car either.
I was trying to point out the difference of $2800 and $1700 for my local shop and meant to say $1100 but must have read the $900 you posted about the rear quarters. Confused myself900 was for the two rear quarter panels additionally.
. Anyway, so for the front end the local shop around here that does most of the high end cars is $1100 less.It's true about the rear quarter area. Same issue on my car. That's why I'm considering full vehicle coverage if I get a Mach 1. I wouldn't skip the A pillars. My buddy got a 2020 GT350 Heritage last year and they forgot to do the A pillars for him. This would mean that there are 2 different part numbers for the hood stripe right?I was at the dealer to see my Velocity Blue car for the first time today and there was FJG right next to it. And as I was observing the hood stripe, the matte texture is very different on both cars as was said here earlier by @Mach1NA . FJG has it rather smooth and almost like with silver metallic in it while VB has it lot rougher and without the metallic sparkles and it looks bit more matte. It seemed like colour sprayed on top of the vinyl in both cases. Kinda weird difference in the make of both.
I believe the issues that @Mach1NA had will appear for all non-FJG with rougher matte surface and they have only one solution with matte PPF on top of the matte part, like he solved it.
