Rock chips can be tricky to do yourself if you want them smooth. Use very thin layers and let it dry in between to build up the paint, rather than just put a big drop on there.

I need those. Got a link?I have had 2 ingot silver cars and luckily the primer used from factory on both cars was a light grey color which did not contrast with the ingot silver vs white cars with black primers or those with dark colors and a white primer. I have touch up paint stick applicator box that I found cheap on ebay. It has all kinds of sizes of soft tips and plastic handles and just take a small dab of the touch up paint I have and I dispose of the stick. it applies better than the touch up paint brush.
