i made 7 or 8 passes total and i couldn't get below a 2.0 60' on ET street R's. My previous best on P-Zero's was 12.79 @ 108.5 with a 1.963 60' with cobb 93 tune.

Here's a bunch of easy to read bullet points with my thoughts.

-peak air temp of 60F, with overnight low of 44. Track was cold
-inconsistent burnouts, all waterbox burnouts. Layout makes it difficult to drive around it.
-poor track prep? No sticky glue sound.
-aborted burnout if wheel hopping.
-Stationary burnouts
-didn't even think of unplugging dyno plug until i got home.
-ECU torque management?
-Protune, E70, stock turbo
-rpm based transbrake, amount of pedal controls boost.

Run 1 (third pass of the day) Street tire: 12.756 @ 113.32 , 2.14 60'
-Did burnout without linelock, drag mode, advance trac off, 25 psi tire pressure. Footbrake launch

For the radial runs, i don't know if the datalogs match the pass in video, air pressures between 16-18 psi
Run 2 (5th pass) Drag Radial, line lock, drag mode, advance trac off, possibly footbrake launch
Run 3 (6th pass) Drag Radial, line lock, drag mode, advance trac off, transbrake ~2400
Last clip: the only good burnout, but transbrake didnt activate correctly.

Successful Drag radial runs, in chronological order
60' , ET, MPH
2.096 12.54, 113.1
2.031 12.48, 113.2
2.011 12.42, 113.3

Do the EcoBoost cars not get line lock?

Pull to the back of water box, do a real burnout and screech the tires out of the box. Report back.
Agreed. I dip in the water, pull forward a touch, bang 1, 2, 3 like an Asian hooker and ease off the brake and finish my burnout that way rolling out. Not sure if you can do that or not but tire speed = good burnout. My tires are generally around 60mph iirc.

What can you foot brake the boost to?

Brake boost? I just rip it into high gear (th400) and screech out. Speedo probably says 120 or so.

This 100%. But my wheel speed is a good bit more than 60 MPH if memory serves (think top of 3rd gear).

I try to not redline it but the turbos make it tough to control. Slightly too much pedal and it just starts revving fast even in 3rd. I aim for about 4500-5000 or so but I suck so there’s always that variable and the rev limiter reminds me.

this outing was first time using line lock. i don't see the timer start in this clip so maybe skill issue, nor do i think i took my foot off the brake. i'm not going to continue the burnout if its rough like this inside?

radial tire clip

changed to a bigger turbo since then so back to square one

What brand and size turbo are you running and how much power are you making with the car?

My read - I don't think you're staying in it long enough. Yes, we want to watch for violent wheel hop, but I think that's not really the problem. You're stopping at such low wheel speed where the tires are still gripping and releasing - that's the violence. Keep in it and break traction with plenty of wheel speed. If it stumbles or does something similar on the launch, then you're probably not launching hard enough..

video was stock turbo and e70. but i changed to precision gen1 NX2 (drop in replacement). it should make between 400-420whp. might try and dyno it, but thats the range my tuner sets for stock block with that turbo.

Its always done that on street tires too, but until this last time, i've always been foot braking while trying a burnout. guess ill have to practice more.
