The power companies challenged them and won, now is the time for the auto aftermarket to challenge them too.

Unelected bureaucrats making law with no accountability has to stop.
Being a company of 6, it would be pretty suicidal to take on a foreign government body regardless of whether you think you are right or wrong. The case is pretty much closed here. Plus we don't see the necessity. For serious race cars there are Motec's, Bosch, Honeywell and proper high end motorsport ECUs that can be used. When your car is $300k+ to build, it's not much more to do it properly.

When those in power are outlawing the use of any vehicle that is produced for the public roads (here that means with a v.i.n. or the same as those produced with a v.i.n.) They can't be used for off road/motorsports.
Read the RPM subject the EPA is pushing for. It isn't JUST here, they kill off grassroot motorsports, they kill them all in time.
I'm sure your Country has something like SEMA over there.

This is what I find very confusing.... I occasionally visit the EPA website to review the list of companies who have been fined. A recent visit revealed that Kooks was on the list. Their case dated back to 2019, but the $300,000 fine was just imposed this year. The interesting part is there is a list of part numbers and description that they were being fined for. I didn't research the entire list, but the majority of S550 related parts on the list are still being sold today. The settlement states that they can no longer sell those items. Is the posted warning all it takes to keep the EPA off their backs?

WARNING: This is a RACE ONLY product manufactured and sold for installation on vehicles to be used solely for competition purposes. Once this part is installed, the vehicle may never be used, or registered or licensed for use, on a public road or highway. If you install this part on your vehicle and use the vehicle on a public road or highway, you will violate the Clean Air Act 203(a)(3), 42 U.S.C, 7522(a)(3) and may be subject to personal civil or criminal liability, including fines of up to $4,819 per day.

Totally understand. It would take every aftermarket company to band together.

Not only do equal length make more power, easier tuning, they sound better.
With the S550 undercarriage I would love to make a 8 into one collector. Should sound like a F1 V8

I’m still wondering if the Rex headers would fit. I’m thinking the steering shaft is going to hit though. I’m also wondering if they were mirror imaged if they would work 🤷🏼‍♂️

Equal length is only part of it, most of the sound is due to firing order/crank design. Also anecdotally I've personally found the better flowing/more modern the head the worse the engines tend to sound. Eg just listen to an old RB/JZ 6 cylinder vs anything modern.

This video shows off just how good some nice headers can make a v8 sound.

Imagine on an 8,000 rpm coyote though...

Good plan, cause According to the EPA, if a vehicle is manufactured by a US company, then the emissions can't be tampered with no matter where in the world the car is sold.
So what are they going to do if I tamper with mine? Tell my mother?
