The only thing I’ve done like this is put the cylinder pressure spark table and my cam distance tables in the launch tune slot. This let me limit spark to keep the throttle open and set my cams up for WOT from a roll. I haven’t done any dig stuff with it.

@Rolls is working on some stuff but not sure how widely it’s been released aside from the pro tuning clients.

ya he pointed me towards looking at the TOT (oil over temp) limit to reduce throttle based on your selected rpm launch setpoint those two tables look like they would accomplish it but im not quite sure what 0,1,2 on that graph are im assuming (EOT, ECT, TOT) figing ig i am sure what line is tot set temp point low then give it a rpm but not sure on the trigger and how i just use it as my launch tune

i will mess with it haven't even opened my custom os yet to see how it all works might bounce some things off you when i get a chance been busy with the fuel pump wiring fiasco that i got to the bottom of and prepping for rocky mountain race week

You can however they are fixed as in they don't adjust value based on your RPM launch setpoint.

If you want it variable you can disable the ETC cut on engine limiter, however spark retard alone wont hold the RPM, it does work quite well though.

auF28259. Throttle source bitmask. We disabled throttle limiting on torque source 4 (engine speed limiting). We have a new UI for this parameter in the beta that is coming soon so you can actually understand what is going on there. You can simply subtract 16 from the number to disable ETC from torque source 5 (engine speed limit) (bit 4) in the mean time.

auF51643 we set torque source 4 (once again engine speed limiting) to have full spark authority (eg it can run min spark clip) when trying to limit torque. We have a new UI for this one also.

auF28094 Engine RPM limit Hysteresis. I set it to 20 from 200.

auF41550 ramp rate for engine speed limiting. This is the rate that the engine RPM limit can change, by default its 50 rpm/s. So it would take a long time for the RPM to reduce when in EOT engine speed limiting. I set it to 10,000.

Then you have auF41536 “Power reduced warning is shown” I’m not sure if this is needed.

We remap the TOT table for the variable rpm limit, so changing the actual table in any other tunes won't do anything as its effectively been removed from the code.
