I know this is old, what is the difference between this & Matrix Custom OS?

I only want the rolling anti lag, is there a way to get that without missing with my current tune?

How much it cost for my car only software/license?

It is build using the same software PBD have their own presets and branding.

If you only want rolling anti lag this is the easiest to set up and anyone here should be able to sort you out.

Thank you, for some reason Palm Beach Dyno no longer use the software, i don't know the rest so I prefer to do it myself, i checked your website & I'm not sure which one I should get for my goal here, also not sure if there's instructions to how to activate/do the rolling anti lag.
I emailed you using your website but I still didn't hear back.

I'm also curious to know if that would effect my current tune?

So back to my point, I want to keep my current tune & my tunerll doesn't have rolling anti lag feature. can I do that myself or it's complicated?

More than happy to walk your tuner through it however it is up to them if they are willing to offer it.

If abused it can damage the car in many different ways, they may not want to offer it for this reason. It also can act like a clutch kick when releasing it, depending on your power levels this may not be safe.

There are many ways to achieve it. Usually people put a simple spark hole in the launch map, eg the max cylinder pressure spark timing table with maybe -5 to -10 degrees in it.

They can also use one of the parameter files we have available that allows for a variable rpm limit that uses spark to achieve a cut. I will post up a thread on our forums with some more information if they are hesitant due to time constraints (often the reason).

Doing it yourself is not recommended unless you have prior tuning experience.

So with this capability, I still need a device, right? This thread and the whole conversation is just about the tune/files? What device(s) do I need to capitalize on the multi tune slots, swapping tunes on the fly, etc? (Sorry guys, I know that's a tune rookie question - thanks for the help).

With the multi-tune capability of Custom OS, you simply click your cruise control buttons a few times and you have access to 4 different tune slots that can be configured nearly any way you want. Once the tune is setup for multi-tune, for the end user it’s all just changing tune slots via cruise control buttons.

In order to flash the tune file to the car, you need a device. If you go through a tuning shop, they will recommend what you need. If you’re doing it yourself, you need a laptop and a dongle, like the OBDX FT, recommended by PCMTEC.

A laptop and cable will suffice. However there are handheld devices that many tuners use for remote tuning.

Is it going to effect the tune that already in the car?
I'm trying to add the rolling anti lag without mess with my tuner work.

It's not an add on, it's a complete tuning software. You will have to build the files out again or your tuner will.

The likelihood that you will readily have access to the tune file (meaning it’s not locked or scrambled) is low if it’s from a place like PBD.

That means you likely won’t easily be able to read the file out and make changes.

Thank you both, that's frustrating.
