I understand.

What about the 6R80 trans brake. Is this possible. HPT has been teasing it for several years.
Yes it definitely is possible, it will most likely be released through dealers like Lund etc who help us test it first.

In another thread we are discussing flex and we came across a switch that says Brazil mode. Do you have any idea what it does. Be nice to have an answer before I play with turning it on and off.

Good stuff, please keep at it! Enjoying digging through os that's been defined so far. Having to make changes with hpt until my os gets added but fingers crossed it will. There have been several areas hpt has mislabeled/backwards and pcmtechs descriptions lit a few light bulbs. Plus many areas that just aren't defined.

If you post on the us vehicles section on our forum I'll dig through the assembler code and figure out what it does for you.

I'd like to see the FRPP tunes defined
FRRP is what HPT call them. They actually have strange long operating system names like FSKR5_MY21_BLAH (SCT name them with the original name) despite not actually be very similar to FSKR5 or which ever OSID they reference.

We refer to them as CPxxx similar how to HPT rename them for simplicity. They are not currently visible in the strategy browser but some of the MY20 and MY21 10r80 cals are mapped already.

We do support several of the ford racing control pack operating systems. If yours is not supported load the stock file (it MUST be stock) read it out with our software and send it to us via support and we will add it. We will need a corrosponding ticket raised, using the built in upload won't get it action automatically (yet).

For everyone else:
If you have bought the software the fastest way to get support is via our website. Eg please add this OS, parameter appears missing, bugs etc https://support.pcmtec.com

Also please read our user guide under help - > user guide on the software. For anyone on the fence here is a link so you can see some screenshots etc
PCMTEC User Guide
https://forum.pcmtec.com/forum/11-general-howto-guides/

Or for tuning related questions post on our forums (eg the what does this scalar/table do). This is only available to paid users https://forum.pcmtec.com

We get 100s of enquiries a week so PMing me or other staff directly will usually result in the PM being forgotten or lost. Would love to help everyone directly but it is not sustainable or consistent unless via the ticket system. Happy to go digging through code for the more interesting questions though (this is more a hobby and not a level of support to expect) eg the Brazil mode question I will definitely have a crack at!

Thanks for the support everyone, our goal is to provide a product that let's everyone play on a level playing field where all it comes down to is your skill as a tuner.

MGSPJL4 Is the Ford Racing Performance Pack 3 tune I'm looking for. At least this is how it shows in HPT OSID

Hopefully you all can define it and or others.

I will from now on ask questions in your forum. Thanks again for posting here.

We had a look at that OSID a while ago. I have it as a Gen2 and will revisit it. Roland and I are working on adding Ford Performance Racing, Roush and Whipple calibrations over the coming weeks. Multitune will be added as well.

Anyone who can do a read of a "Stock" vehicle with a calibration from one of these companies will be greatly appreciated. BTW you don't need to license the vehicle to read the file. Once we have a stock read we will get the template back ASAP so you can see the parameters and when you read the tuned file you can see what has been changed. For a new stock read we can come to some arrangement on licensing that file:wink:

Thanks in advance.

I gotta say, the support you guys are giving is really good, even just that little bit of info confirming those fuel line volume parameters was seriously impressive. You've got a new customer in me for sure

If multitune support comes to pro-tuner that would be great! I also really like the philosophy of supporting a few vehicles but supporting them well. I used Cobb products on another car I had, and honestly I'm getting a really similar feeling from you guys. Exceptional support!

If you have more of those questions happy to answer. I quite enjoy the challenge of digging through undocumented code trying to figure out the intent. So far no one has asked us many interesting questions like that!

Keep them coming.

Also in case you didn't see, most tables have a DMRX and DMRY listed in the description in the form of MID1234. If you type MID1234 into the datalogger you can confidently datalog the exact value being fed into that table. Eg a table may say load as the Y axis, but it's actually inferred load due to antipation (eg revving out first and getting wheel spin). You can also see if a table is being used or not, eg the X or y DMRs may be pegged at 0.

The map tracing function in the datalogger makes this extremely useful for diagnosing shift points and other tasks, it will even draw a blue trace line over your table so you can see where in the map it went.

Thanks for the support everyone and we will continue to support the Ford tuning industry to a level not seen before.
