Oil recommendation

So its probably been beaten to death here. I didnt see a clear answer. Was wondering what grade and brand oil would be recommended in a twin turboed coyote with sealed motor? Motor has 9500 miles on it with 4k on build. Previous owner used PP 5w30 says its a fantastic oil. Only reason i ask is i heard running anything other than 5w20 is asking for issues with the cam phasers and such. Thanks guys

0 w 40 is a great weight. It is called euro. Just pick a good brand.

Turbos get hella hot so I would think the 50 would be beneficial. I'm running 5-50 in a supercharged setup and the heat is nowhere what a turbo puts out.

Recommendation for supercharged Stangs from Ford Performance is 5W-50. I would mimic that for turbos.

Sorry guys wasnt trying to start a war or anything. Like i said new to the coyote motors and and dont k ow what they do and do not like. Just trying to make sure i take care of this car properly thats all. I know having twins puts extra stress on it but im meticulous with my oil changes every 3 to 4k. Always use quality filter and oil so just with that i did read a thread that said changing from the 5w20 messes with the cam phasers an such

0 or 5 W 40 or 50, making sure it’s acea a3/b4 rated. Pennzoil platinum euro 5w40 is a good choice.

Dont worry about your phasers. I’m running 5w50 that’s almost 5w60 and loggged phaser performance extensively. They work fine.

I am surprised whoever installed the turbos didn't tell the original owner what spec oil to run. I am wondering why the previous owner was using 5w30.
