No. SYNC3 v3.4.20136 is still the latest.

Just FYI.. build 20136 is the latest in North America. The rest of the world is on build 20196. It has the official fix for the USB issue plus others.

The base does have Sync but not Sync 3. How can it be updated to 3.4?

The app, voice and gracenote packages are the same... sort of!

Benefit of having the 4" screen......took all of 15 minutes to update the system. Not sure of any changes as of yet.

Glad it went well for you. Question though. Do you have a setting screen that shows you the version and build number like we have on the 8" screen?

Thank you, I'm just confused. I thought that Sync 1 (the base 4" screen) & Sync 2 (MyFord Touch) were Microsoft based and Sync 3 was Blackberry based. Is this not correct?

20136 is the latest in Europe as well. Officially, anyway.
20196 is available only via Cyanlabs for now.

Seriously the same way they were offering 3.4 & maps 1.19 months before it became available from Ford. They have people able to get their hands on it. Checkout their site. Quite interesting.

They won't shut them down because Ford knows Cyanlabs does a better job providing updates.

Has anyone managed to get Ford's systems to acknowledge their successful update?
I've uploaded the XML three times, I've even re-generated it using their oficial XML generator, but to no avail. They still keep telling me there's an update pending (which is exactly the same, I checked that).
I know this is supposed to take a bit of time, but it's been three weeks already, so it's obviously not working.
Someone told me that the structure of the XML has changed in v3.4, and that v3.4 update packages (and the generator for that matter) generate XMLs in a format that Ford's system doesn't recognize. But I couldn't find this information anywhere else, so I don't know how accurate it is.
