  1. Clock on my Sync system keeps reverting back an hour.

Where is it because I've never found it.
  2. Clock on my Sync system keeps reverting back an hour.

I might be wrong, but I think DST is built into Sync (e.g. there is no setting to enable/disable). I've never found a DST setting.
  3. Clock on my Sync system keeps reverting back an hour.

Just out of curiosity, did the reset fix the issue?
  4. Wrapping My S550...

That went right over your head!
  5. Wrapping My S550...

I saw this thread and got to thinking my car might look pretty good in satin black but not for $4-5K. I mean, not washing it is free!
  6. Wrapping My S550...

If I had a guy I wouldn't be asking!
  7. Wrapping My S550...

Just out of curiousity, how much does a full wrap cost (ballpark)?
  8. Nascar Talk

Chrysler withdrew factory support. I've heard rumors that Honda might join NASCAR which means you'll probably be seeing Accords. In regards to GM/Chevy, how long can they run the Camaro body after it's discontinued? Also, what body will they use? Cadlillac CT5? EDIT: Did a little digging...
  9. Nascar Talk

Now that you mention it, I do remember NASCAR tightening down on the templates back in the mid-to-late 80s. The T-birds had such an aero advantage over the GM products that I'm sure GM wanted to be sure they didn't get any more advantage by tweaking the body lines.
  10. Nascar Talk

I'd always heard it the other way and never knew the original source. Never the less, the sentiment is the same.
  11. Nascar Talk

Every team pushes the rules to the limits, especially back then. You've heard the phrase "If you aren't cheating, you're not trying"?
  12. Nascar Talk

NASCAR was already talking about ways to slow the cars down in 1985. That crash might have been the catalyst but it was already in discussion before that.
  13. Nascar Talk

I found some info about . It was a rumor cooked up by Darrell Waltrip and Junior Johnson but never verified. So just a conspiracy theory from sore losers.
  14. Nascar Talk

Never heard that one before. Got a link to the info about it?
  15. Nascar Talk

Who remembers the 1985 Talladega 500? Bill Elliot developed an oil leak and ended up 2 laps down after repairs were made. He lapped the field twice and won the race. He was running 205mph while everyone else was runningn 195-200. That's why we have restrictor plates now.
  16. Nascar Talk

    Just the engines.
  17. Nascar Talk

Yep.. No restrictor plates. Just pure horsepower and back then nobody did it better than Ernie Elliot.
  18. Nascar Talk

I was a NASCAR fan from the late 70s to the early 90s (I loved the old school T-birds). I got re-interested in it when they announced the current Gen 7 cars and because they do more road courses now. Ovals are OK except for the superspeedways. They're yawners until the big wreck happens that...
  19. Rear suspension creek, cannot solve the issue(solved)

My car developed the rear squeak and I thought it was suspension related but then I found this thread. I put the rear seats down and the squeak disappeared. A few shots lithium grease on the hinges and latches fixed it. I'm glad I kept searching and found this super cheap fix!
  20. GT3 Mustangs at Daytona

Here's a pic of the restrictor plates added to the GT4 Mustangs. I got this from Dean Martin's (owner of Kohr Motorsports) FB feed page.
