Sync3 3.3 Ford-EVO Startup / Shutdown Animation

Did you every get this to work? I am looking to do the same thing, but information on the Ford-Evo / GT500 codes is a bit elusive.

I feel we’ve all gotten it to work, just seems like pre 18 cars are only able to get the startup to work and it defaults to the blue oval on shut down. Small sample size however.

I have not had any luck getting this to work. Although when I first made the switch to 3.4 from 3.0, I had the GT350R logo on startup and shut down. When I upgraded to 3.4, the GT350R logos were still active on startup and shutdown. When I changed it to the GT500 screen, only startup worked and this is where I stand now. I also lost controls for heated and cooled seats on the screen, had to add that back in through forscan.

I haven’t tried any other start up options, but can confirm all of the know shutdown codes did not alter the shutdown screen from being the basic Ford logo. Even after mirroring the code line from a GT500 VIN. EDIT - this only seems to happen on pre 18 models.

I tried this on my 19 but I get the Cobra startup but the generic form shutdown. Any word on what in doing wrong or what the values should be?

Interesting. What sync 3 version you have? Does the Ford GT animation work for you?
Startup: 7D0-02-01: xxxx xDxx xxxx
Shutdown:7D0-03-01: xxxx x4xx xxxx

Ya the GT version worked fine. I have the boot splash , theme and shutdown. I'm gonna leave it on the GT as I like it as well. Thx

This works on my 2020 Mustang GT Prem for the snake ford performance splash screens. The other code listed in this thread only gives me the Ford splash screens.

It seems to be more common than originally thought. I’ve just learned to deal with as once the car goes off I’m getting out anyways.

iirc, the top is animation, the bottom is theme. For me both had to be used to work. Modifying one alone would not work.

Thanks el-guapin, I used both together and got the generic Ford logo on shutdown.
2019 Bullitt running Sync 3.3, I gotta believe you have something different than me.

Could I bug you for the GT theme value for 7D0-03-01=

Also do you know if I could use the EVO animation and the GT theme?
