It actually does, since the non-HP and HP come stock with different size wheels. Fronts on the HP need more camber because they’re wider than the non-HP.
The ride height (lower on the handling pack) is the reason

The wheels alone don't need more camber, the poke is fine, I have them on non-HP. Only if you want to tuck them in bit more. Changing wheels doesn't require geometry adjustment.

I’m aware a change in wheels does not require an alignment change. All I’m saying is Ford has different settings up front for the HP vs the non-HP. What’s the big difference up front with the two trims? The wheels…

Another thing to consider, the handling pack allows more adjustability for camber...those settings might not be possible with the non-HP setup. Aftermarket camber plates let you go even further (3+ degrees)

I thought the difference is the spring rate.
So going to HP springs on a Base Mach keeping the base wheels and tires, still requires an alignment adjustment and most likely camber plates . ?
Not trying to poke in , just understanding. Ya know .

Even if they were the same, the main difference is in the name - Handling Package. It is meant for better handling and more negative camber in the front definitely helps with that alone. Plus it has adjustable camber plates. Either way, checking geometry is good in any case from time to time.

The spring rates are slightly different - can't remember the numbers off hand, but as you might expect the HP springs are stiffer, and they are also slightly lower to help close the arch gap a little with the 30 profile tyres.

I did HP springs, HP rear sway bar, HP camber plates and HP wheels/ PS4S tyres and front fender flares in one go as my second round of mods.

I immediately drove from the shop that did the work to the best local tyre/alignment place to get the Mach 1 HP Street settings that @MAGS1 posted earlier dialed in.
Not huge changes admittedly but it's what the manual said so thought that was probably advisable!

Here's my car the day the work was done if that helps :)

Looks very nice ,I want to do the same , I was able to purchase HP F&R Springs and camber plates , rear sway bar was already sold (all is new parts) I'm partial to the GT350 wheels so I purchased 4 and new PS4s they have been on for months and drives very nicely. (No alignment)
A little tramline action on uneven parallel surfaces, but to be expected wider W&T setup.
I haven't installed the springs F&R and C plates yet , and as of now may not due to lightly scraping my front splitter 2 times ( and Im very careful) .
The front gap is not bad , but the back is bigger than I like , and I knew this going from 40 series to 30 .
Question. Installing the rear HP springs only , will this throw off the cars geometry, I'm sure now the car will need an alignment, with only rear HP springs. Will they only change rear camber adjustment ? , or no alignment needed .
As it sits now the rear gap is about 1/2 larger , than an HP Car . Thanks guys

For track guys, my alignment guy sells his services in pairs for track rats. You can buy 2 at a time. Go get track aligned, pay once, then go back and get it put back for street for free (pre paid). Discount that way.
Who's your local guy, I think you and I are pretty close, based on the shop that did your installs. I'd welcome an alignment shop that would understand camber plates, track alignments, etc.

Eurospec outside Maryville. Doug is an alignment and tire genius. He does my tires and alignment every time. He is a HUGE track rat and even a HPDE instructor.

I think just changing rear springs only would affect geometry and balance and probably not in a great way, so not something I'd do myself.
I did an AI search and while I'm not sure every point it listed was valid there was enough to convince me it might not be the best idea! :)
In any case I'd definitely want a full alignment to mitigate any negative characteristics that might result.

From memory I think the drop from the Non-HP to the HP springs is about 12mm / 0.5 inches on top of the height reduction from the tyre profile.
I held off adding the front splitter (and wing to balance it out) for exactly that reason - there's lots of speed bumps where I live - but have found it's not a major issue if you're careful.

I do try and think of the splitter like a semi-consumable item - it's going to pick up marks and scuffs mainly on the underside and at some point will need replacing. At least they are a lot cheaper in the US than they are over here.
I'm on splitter number two now but that's another story and for once it wasn't actually my fault! :D

After a bunch of back and forth I've finally settled on what I'm going to do. I'll be ordering parts today hopefully. Thanks for all the feedback and builds here that's helped me a ton.

Parts-
OEM:

Ford HP Springs (should provide the best height with the bird nest wheels imo)
Ford HP bird nest wheels
Ford HP Rear Spoiler
Ford HP fender extensions
Frrd HP Front Splitter (probably hang it on the wall until a track day)

Steeda:
Steeda Mustang GT350/Mach 1 Handling Ultimate Kit
Steeda Mustang Camber Plates
Steeda Mustang 1" Adjustable Rear Sway Bar
Steeda Mustang Ultralite 2-Point G-Trac Brace
