Agreed, I have noticed my EPAS is significantly heavier on my Non HP car with HP wheels and tires. Not a big deal, I actually like it, but it is more of a chore than my 22 GT PP was to drive, although I went much bigger tire on it too.

Has the dealer recalibrated your EPAS to the new wheels? The Ford tech I know said when they install the HP wheels, it should've been done in Ford IDS along with an alignment.

No. I have never took my car to the dealer. It is out of warranty, so it won't be back. And my local alignment guy is WAY better than dealer techs.

Lot of good info on here.
I went with LMR forged DH1 wheels 10.5 up front and 11 in the rear.

Did steeda suspension, did not do the diff bushings.
On your list, I would forget the diff bushings and the magneride controller until you are ready to be a track car.

it really all depends on how much you are willing to compromise your factory ride quality.

Steeda springs are solid and you will not notice a ride difference. Moving to the lower profile tire you do notice just a little in ride difference.

If I were you, I would leave the DSC controller and the diff bushings and snag the other sway bar, as well as the IRS alignment and bushing set up.

Forged wheels are tempting, I do like those are in the HP sizes.

Thanks for the feedback on suspension. I think you are pretty on point. I don't ever expect my car to be a track car. Just a few times a year at autox or HPDE weekends. I'm not racing, I'm just out to have some fun.

The reality is these car have plenty of capability. Once you learn to drive the car to its limit with few parts or even OE with wheel and tire changes, then you can look at more mods.

Right, track time is where I started noticing things I don't think I would have noticed otherwise. I just want to get the car to feel less "on its toes" and more planted. Honestly a track alignment and a bit wider tires would probably help more than mods here.

It’s not a warranty service, it’s a performance upgrade to do the HP EPAS recal, so they charge for that.

Exactly. Why I wont' go get it done, I wasn't suggesting it was warranty. I don't even trust a dealer to do warranty work, let alone anything I have to pay for. Only reason I would EVER even consider taking my car to a dealer is for warranty work, then I would have to debate the pros and cons of them screwing it up. I am perfectly happy with how it works now. The heavier steering is kind of nice to me.

I don't even notice any difference in steering. It's fine. I use sport steering 100% in MyMode too.

Why would you get an alignment for new rims. Did you keep listening to him after he said tha?

Oddly enough the alignment does look to be different between the HP and none HP, not sure if it's directly wheel related or not. Traditionally you wouldn't need an alignment for wheels and tires though. See reference thread below.

I don't even notice any difference in steering. It's fine. I use sport steering 100% in MyMode too.

I do notice my Mach is quite a bit heavier steering feel than my 2022 2PP GT was, so I figured it was because of the significantly beefier front tires. I had 275 wide fronts on my GT, 305 on the Mach 1. Not a big deal, a price you pay to play LOL

I had my guy check mine when I bought it and got rid of the god awful Cup 2's and got PS4S tires for my driving. Those cups were downright dangerous on the street, I was worried I was gonna get a DUI it was pulling me all over the road...

I'd love to have the ability to switch between two different camber alignments without a shop trip.
