I'd love to have the ability to switch between two different camber alignments without a shop trip.
For track guys, my alignment guy sells his services in pairs for track rats. You can buy 2 at a time. Go get track aligned, pay once, then go back and get it put back for street for free (pre paid). Discount that way.

It is not directly wheel related. That's ridiculous. Why would a wheel change alignment?
Wider wheel farther from the fulcrum could equal more leverage which might require a difference in alignment to compensate? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you think, if you had a wheel that had 20 feet of back spacing it'd def affect the suspensions zero and require some adjustment to compensate. That's an extreme thought experiment but just shows the idea of why this might be needed.

You've taken the path I'm really thinking I want to go. How would you compare the handling characteristics/performance to before you made all the changes? Anything you wish you hadn't done? Also any rubbing or anything post lowering springs?

Handling characteristics improved noticeably, especially when cornering. The suspension modifications made the car feel way more confidence inspiring and I quickly found myself more willing to push the car harder when cornering. As for normal street driving the car felt a bit stiffer but nothing unbearable. Visually, the lowered stance made the car much more appealing.

As of right now I have no regrets on any of the parts that I have installed, as I mentioned the passenger side Steeda camber plate bearing failed, but Steeda was kind enough to send me a replacement bearing at no charge. However, I had an upcoming event that I needed the car to be at before the plate could be reassembled so I swapped in some Maximum Motorsports camber plates to test out. The MM plates are the same that Shelby America uses in their cars and they cost a little less than Steeda's option, but don't have as much adjustment range. They are still very good widely used plates and I haven't had an issue with them yet. Vorshlag are arguably the best caster/camber plates for the S550 but cost a bit more.

As for rubbing that depends on your driving style, several guys have said no rubbing issues on dual rates and the factory handling pack street spec. However, in my opinion they are oblivious to any rubbing or they are not pushing their cars hard enough because when I ran the handling pack street spec I was rubbing. The offset of the front wheels is very aggressive so I found that a blend of the Handling Pack street and track spec worked best for me. If I remember correctly I believe I did a -1.8 camber in the front and -1.2 in the rear with total toe being 0.1 F and 0.3 R.

Grabber blue is one of Fords best color options and a top color choice for the Mach 1s imo, glad you and others also agree :handshake:

Just enjoy shutting down people who spread misinformation on the internet.
Getting of topic a bit, but this is FAR from misinformation. Saying that changing a component of your suspension has zero effect would be closer to misinformation. I can guarantee from an engineering perspective if you change a variable in a system the resulting numbers will also change. 2+2=4 we can agree but 3+2 doesn't = 4, a small variable change results in a change in output.

A wider wheel does affect steering and suspension how much I can't argue, I don't posses the skill, formulas, or variables to do the math. The wider stance will 100% increase leverage on all suspension components and the change in scrub radius is going to have some effect as well.

Because of the added leverage spring rates will be effected, camber will change, stress on bearing etc. will change. The increase in scrub radius will also change steering feel and effort, and might be the reason for the change in toe between the HP and none. Also try not to think of the car in a static position, suspension is dynamic.

With that said if you didn't change your alignment it's probably going to be ok. However Ford def has different alignment specs and the only differences in suspension HP vs none on the front at least are springs and wheel/tire, so one can deduce that the alignment spec changes are due to the differences in spring rate and/or wheel/tire width. Also note the differences in camber and toe are very minor here, so the changes made here are also most likely very minor.

Says the guy who thinks wheels change spring rate. Now if you want to argue it changes dynamic alignment or something irrelevant like that sure, but you're not putting it in an alignment table and seeing a difference, that's silly.

The different alignment specs are just more aggressive for track use...going with an inch wider wheel isn't going to change anything.

It actually does, since the non-HP and HP come stock with different size wheels. Fronts on the HP need more camber because they’re wider than the non-HP.
