For anyone who has transformed their non hp Mach 1 to a handling package Mach 1, when it came to replacing the front and rear springs What is the degree of difference between stock to the handling package, question being how much of a drop should I be expecting, right now with the handling package wheels there is quite a gap between tire and feder, nothing crazy, but could be a bit lower in my opinion,

It is not a big difference, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It's still enough to improve the fender gap visually, especially with 35 or 40 aspect tires. I also really liked the increased spring rates, still fine for a daily driver but a little sportier than the non-Hp springs (which I thought were a little cushy).
My driveway prevents me from going any lower, I never scraped on stock springs, but will touch the sidewalk with HP springs when I have a passenger.
Overall I'd say it's a great option for minimal drop.
I think someone else posted a thread where they actuality took measurements.

My HP with PS4s on it measured 4" of clearance at the front HP splitter. I guess the HP mach 1's sit about an inch lower than none HP. I ended up having to take the front splitter off because it was scraping on most everything. Not sure if that helps any.

Just get the Steeda Dual Rates like everyone else with their HPs.

I've never read anywhere that the HP is any lower than non-HP, Springs are the same.
Magnaride and steering tuned different
Sway bar in rear is solid
Splitter on the front which I think is totally impractical for street makes is look lower and the sidewall of the HP tires may also come into play.

HP springs are stiffer....closer to GT350 springs, but not quite.
Spring rate chart is almost a sticky.

No problem, it is a subtle difference for sure but a nice improvement.

Factory HP springs sit .4" lower than non HP springs.

Don't know about steering but Magneride tuning is the same. Someone posted that here somewhere recently. Information came directly from Ford Performance.

As mentioned already, HP springs do sit slightly lower and have a stiffer spring rate, and there is no difference in the magnaride from non-HP to HP cars.

Correct. So if you opt for the HP wheels, but want to keep the stock springs, I'd highly recommend a 35 profile tire. The stock HP tire diameter is much smaller and will give you a lot of wheel gap with stock non-HP springs. 👍🏻

Magna ride is the same across all platforms
