This is why I wonder if it's a misaligned or improperly installed clutch from the factory on some cars. It's not the first post I've seen like this where someone does everything but the clutch, still has lockout, does the clutch, lockout gone.I did the steeda shifter bracket, bg fluid and steel braided line first but still had lock out. Did the clutch for unrelated issues but after it was installed the lockout was gone.
I legit believe there's multiple issues related to assembly and quality of surrounding components.
We know that the stock clutch line can have issues with extreme heat, and that under extreme circumstances the stock shifter does not remain perfectly in place as it's not mounted to the transmission.
