When I got the car home from the dealer I put the torque on it, every lug was a different torque! All at 150 lb now!
Yes you need a breaker bar. I carry one in the truck with the jack.

All set and good to go. As previously mentioned the trunk floor doesn't sit quite flush.

I would like to see someone measure the actual circumference of the AA 19" spare to see what it is.

Due to a lack of relevance, the tire industry does not list circumference specs. I suppose that you could reverse engineer the revolutions per mile number, but, again, the information is not really relevant. The OA diameter, however, is 27.6". Interestingly, some folks on this site will say the AA spare drops right into the Mustang well & others say it will not ... or that it's a really, really tight fit. My AA spare (w/correct air pressure) dropped right into my 2019 PP2. It's a snug fit, for sure, but didn't require any WD40 or similar product to make it fit.

Same with mine. It's tight, but it's in there and didn't require anything to make it slide in. Was a bit of a pain getting past the gas funnel, though.

Exactly. If you drop the front (closest to back)in first it drops under the funnel, and then the back drops in.

Yup, but I had to drop the edge under the funnel and then hold the wheel flat to get it to drop in. I couldn't just drop the edge under the funnel to the bottom of the well and then drop the rest in from the angle. It wants to go in flat.

I trimmed the funnel holder a bit to get my full size tire in easier...

I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy one of these spares; I don't like the OE 12VDC mini compressor and slime solution. Maybe a sale will come along, or we could get a group buy going to bring down the cost. Anyone else interested?

I'd be interested, though I need it within the next 2 weeks for an upcoming Maine road trip so I may have to pull the trigger before anything could be arranged.

I got the AA spare just cuz I'm old school. But, w/that said, the pump & slime really is not a bad thing for your basic everyday puncture. However, if you seriously open up the tread &/or sidewall, then, of course, all bets are off & that $300 AA spare is worth every penny. And most tire shops will not fix punctures if they are anywhere near the edge of the tread or on the sidewall which means you will be forced to purchase (most likely) a non-matching tire to continue your trip. :curse:

I'm interested. Tony Alonzo also asked about a group buy interest some rime ago. Maybe he will chime in.

I'd still love to do a group buy. I have not yet made an individual purchase on the AA kit.

I'd be in for a group buy also.

Count me in on a group buy if we can go that route! On another note, my 15 RS3 has the phase 2 package with a BAP mounted in the spare tire well. Obviously this would have to be relocated if I get the AA kit (group buy or not). Has anyone else had to relocate their BAP from the well and if you did where did you place it?
