Something is amiss. Those stock tires were likely removed and resold/replaced with cheaper all-season tires. The stock Bullitt Michelinās are also used on the 2021-2022 Mach I and the modified GTās at Ford Performance Racing School.
My understanding is itās a sequel to the original movie and not a remake. Thatās likely to exclude a high power chase scene that duplicates the original.
The standard/stock tire was Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. 255/40ZR19 front and 275 rear. These are high performance summer tires. There was no other tire option.
Maybe Ford fired their good designers along with all those ICE engineers! IMHO, it was designed by a recent design school graduate. Styling copied from other makers, competing body lines that do not flow well and giant LCD screens to prepare you for an EV. No thanks.
Ok, but my point is in 1968 no body thought a Mustang GT would be collectible either. A Shelby was coveted then, but not a GT. Letās hope all high performance ICE cars become future collectibles.
I will go with the Castrol on my upcoming diff change. I found it most interesting that Ford Performance recommends Castrol Synthetic engine oil instead of Motorcraft in their high performance vehicles.
Can someone please comment if they changed their MT82-D4 to Motul?
Amsoil makes a DCTF but I have not seen anybody comment on it. Iām currently using Ravenol, but it seems no better than stock Motorcraft. Whatever you use, it may be best to use one that carries the Ford spec on the label, just in case you have a warranty issue.
