I stuck with 5W20 for first two oil changes, then went with 5W30 going forward. Happy to trade a little bit of mileage for better protection. This is what my service advisor suggested when I asked him at the first oil change.

When you leave the dog in the car, you need to disarm the internal motion sensors. Its a two part system. It should show you on the dash after you turn off the engine before you exit the car.

I had mine installed by the dealer during an oil change. I purchased supplied the part. I think my installed total cost was $85. Notwithstanding how lame it sounded, I think it was dangerous at highway speeds, as it wouldn't get anyone's attention...
