I use Chevron Techron Injector Cleaner in all of my vehicles without anything but positive results. I tried Lucas Injector Cleaner and could not see a difference. Then used Techron on 2 tanks later and I could feel the difference. I have almost 9k miles on E85 with zero problems.

It settled out just below 95%. I think they forgot to add gas at the distribution center.

I put 300 gallons of E70-80 through mine from May to November. I stay away from additives. I switch to straight gasoline a week before she gets parked in the garage for winter.

My bud ran pump E for 6 years in his GTO. That car never saw straight gas. Car was stored in NY in a barn every winter with no additives, fired up no problem each spring and ran 9’s every trip to the dragstrip.

Gasoline is a solvent. Ethanol/Alcohol is a solvent. Fuel systems don’t need additives. There’s in-line and/or sock filters on pumps for particles.
I'm like Cory S here, I run E85 from May to November, and 93 through out the winter. I searched "fuel injector cleaners" to find out what's good to use, and how often; but at this point I'm confused. Should we or not???

I just ordered some Redline for Ethanol fuel. But the more research I do the more confused I get.

Is that the kind you pour in the tank or do you run it through the fuel rails? I cleaned mine using a can of BG injector cleaner with this kit. I imagine any kind of injector cleaner would work fine though.

Alcohol is dry so you want to run some lube with it. This is more important with methanol. If you read the F150 owners manual it says to run a tank of 93 every so often if running E85, if you use the top lube the switch to 93 is not necessary.

Redline top lube is good stuff, don't take much either.
