PS4S are summer tyres only. Good for tracking once a year. And 10x longer lifetime than Cup2's apparently.

If you can get HP for only 2k more than non-HP then go for it by all means. The normal cost of HP is +$4500 in 2022 iirc. And you'll sell Cup2's for nice money still.
Hey thank you very much. That’s what Im thinking.

I didn’t understand the last sentence of selling cup2’s for money?Which ones you mean the ones that come with the car?

of course. they are lousy choice for street use. So why not get $800 for them with <300 miles of use?

I plan on selling mine with 12 miles on them for a lot more than $800. The general track person that wants these typically has $$$$.

If I am buying this, I will be driving down 700 miles so I don't think I will be having the choice of doing that.

I like the wheels, they are badass. I will switch the cup2 though for sure.

Me too, they will not stay on there no time.

true, but the most I've paid for a set of show-room new Cup2 was $1000. I can buy SuperCar 3R for $1200 brand new, so that sets the ceiling. But of course it depends on circumstance and the buyer.

Where do you guys sell them on facebook market place?
There or on the forum. I know a guy who tracks his Camaro monthly, he mentioned buying them when I get my car.

I’m torn with the CUP 2's since they are not legal in street tire autocross classes since treadwear rating is <200. I'll probably run a higher class initially and use them to get used to the car. The HP wheels look nice but aren't a great track option either since 1) they are HEAVY and 2) different sizes front and rear means you cannot rotate them. They're probably best for summer street tires and car shows.

At the end of the day, Cup 2's are $2400 brand new. Mine with 12 miles on them don't reduce the price by $1400. Just how I feel about it. Also depends on if they are out of stock too which has happened a couple times.

Im going to try tracking my Mach, so I will get a square set-up for that and, like you said keep the factory ones for shows, general cruising, and Mustang Week

I really wish the stock setups on all the performance pack mustangs were NOT staggered. I really liked rotating my tire setups even just for a street setup. My 17 GT's suspension with Bilstein B6's and BMR handling springs was incredible with a 285 square setup.
