Indeed! I wonder why Ford opted for the lower profile for the HP.
Easy answer, 315/35 R19 tyres aren't made at all and 305/35 are (discontinued) PSS only. They went for Cup2's and those have only profile 30. Even had their own compounds made. And on track the lower profile is great, HP is meant for serious track use.

So it is really pick you poison. :)
That's easy, pick only the good roads 😁

I was considering supercharging and thought the wider tire would help put down the power, but it seems like too much aggravation.
I wouldn't see it so bad. Easiest solution is to go with Continental SportContact 6 295/35 R19 in all four corners. Those are great tyres, newer than PS4S, and have comparable results in benchmarks. And there's no shortage of those since they're made in Europe and cheaper for 215 € a piece.

If you guys can get 315/30/19s and 305/30/19s in Europe go with them, there is no reason to get a 35 aspect ratio tyre since all the Handling Packages in the US use those specific sizes. Sure you will tramline on rutted roads, that is a concern everywhere, though I find it seldom happens with the PS4Ss. If you don't have the HP, but want to track the car, do consider getting some bigger wheels 19x11s ( you will need a spacer up front) because the difference on a road course is phenomenal.

I did not realize we were so lucky in the USA to have so many more choices for tires/tyres. I will say, having been in the Czech Republic, the road in America are no better and in so cases I would rate them worse. Overall , in Europe , I felt your roads were in better condition than most of the ones across the US.

In the UK, sourcing 315/30/19 is not impossible, but it's not straightforward. A few smaller retailers carry them, but all of the big name UK retailers do not carry them. I can buy them for $437 each in the UK. One concern I have is what if I get a flat, how easy will it be for me to get a replacement quickly? I do not have space in London to store spare tires.

I can understand the issue with a flat , and if you do not occasionally track your car I would say the larger tyres are not a concern. If you want to go to Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Knockhill Raceway, etc. for a driving event, those sizes are the secret weapon to dominate your friends. I think everyone worries about getting replacements with supply issues around the World, but performance tyres have often been problematic throughout the years. Why not get one extra , have a circular piece of glass cut oversized and use it for a conversation piece and coffee table?
Just a suggestion, since space is often limited in the major cities of the World, and if a lovely young lass thinks it is really cool you have found a keeper!

Not sure about the young lass, my Mrs would FLIP if I put a spare tire in our tiny London garden. She's generally very supportive about the car, but I don't want to overdue it! On a serious note, I'm not going to track the car at all. Part of me just wanted the fatter tires because they look cool and I'm a total poser  Appreciate that in my neighborhood, there are loads of 911s, Taycans, Aston Martins, an 812, 488 and FF. But a Mach 1...gets more looks than all of those cars. It's crazy, but true.

I have no doubt the Mustang gets a ton of looks in Jolly Ole England, and it should. Surprisingly, to some, the Mustang garners plenty of attention in the US with it's niche models ( Mach 1s, Bullitts, GT 350s, GT500s, Boss 302s, etc. ) because many folks here feel they are quite attainable. What is really fun is going to a road course and watching the surprised look on the faces of those with Audis, BMWs, Porsches, etc. when they can to catch some of these models.

I guess I understand about the Mrs. and your spare tire being out in the garden, as it would be a shocker one day for you to return home to find it filled with dirt, littered with freshly planted pansies , serving as an overly large flower pot. I am out of ideas, but since you are a brave man, and obviously can take care of yourself ( admitting you are a poseur shows a tremendous amount of self confidence ) any size tyre you want is just fine with the rest of us!

Keep in mind if your putting HP rims on a non HP car you will need 35 series tyres to keep the speedometer relatively accurate. 295/35 or 305/35 rear tyres will do the job nicely.

Yes. Unfortunately, finding 35's in the UK is like finding gold in your garden. Not an everyday occurrence :-(
