Take a picture before installing or have some of the HP cars? No tech or police can say it's not original part from factory. It doesn't change length or width of the car and has no impact on pedestrian safety so wtf should they even care?

This is not how it works over here in Germany, unfortunately. Also, HP cars are not sold by Ford here. If you change something on a car, you as the owner need to proof that it is legal.

šŸ˜‚ yikes at the government regulation. It's true the spoiler will reduce MPG, so I'm guessing that is the reason, but sheesh.

Wanted to give an update here as well: If you are having your spoiler painted, make sure to check the threaded studs. My paint shop left nuts on that were covered by a foam washer (to avoid painting the threads and nut but did not remove them after delivering it to me. I didn't check and created that gap šŸ˜… easy fix once I unbolted and noticed it. I had my spoiler painted by Tommy Vaughn Ford body shop here in Houston and besides accidentally hiding these bolts it turned out great!

Thank you. Wheels are actually from the US. Prefer all original. To tell you the truth, the ones offered here in AUS although come close, are different. The edges of the spokes have a sharper contour/profile and the colour is not quite the same, also some other small differences. Also they are 20ā€, not 19ā€ like the HPā€™s. Not to say that thereā€™s anything wrong with the ones offered here, but I simply prefer what is meant to come with the Mach 1, the Original US HP wheels. And at US $1000 for the set of 4, + US $800 FedEx delivered to my door in 10 days,ā€¦you canā€™t go wrong. The only mistake I made was that I should have gone 295 front and 305 rear. I went 275 front and 295 rear. The rears are a little stretched.
As for the rear splash guards, have got them on also. All original from the US.

Hi there. I have Pilot Sport 4s - Front 275/35/19 and Rear 295/35/19. Iā€™d rather keep at a 35 profile rather than going down to 30ā€™s. These are the widest possible with the Pilot Sport 4s at a 35 profile. Maybe if you can hold out till the Continental Contact 7ā€™s are released, you may be able to go Front 285/35/19 & 305/35/19 for the rears. Letā€™s see once theyā€™re available šŸ‘šŸ‘. Regards.

Michelin Super Sport have 295/35 an 305/35 but i don't know if these tires are good tires like PS4.

I don't what size i must buy, because i just bought too the OEM HP Springs and the adjustable strut mount, i don't know if with these changes the car are more lower than a normal Mach1 and with 35 tires don't fit well, because are a little bit taller.

Pilot Super Sport is very close to PS4S, it's its direct predecessor. I read a lot of information about tests, comparisons etc. before I bought PSS 305/35 R19 and the conclusion is they are very close. PS4S is slightly better on wet surface but PSS has slight edge in handling. They can be combined without any issues too, so I'll put in a few days PS4S on the front in 285/35 and PSS on the rear in 305/35. PSS has bigger edge protector from what I can notice.

Read and watch here:

As was noted before, I'd avoid 295/35 R19 PS4S because that's a tyre meant for Mercedes and 10" disc actually, it has narrower tread width and looks stretched on the rim.

I'm not sure if 305/35 R19 works in the front, but 295/35 will work fine. 305/35 R19 is also fine to use. You won't have issues with HP springs. Adjustable strut mounts have no impact on this at all. These tyres in profile 35 match the original tyre's diameter with only a small difference, unlike profile 30 which has big difference. Also profile 35 looks better with smaller fender gap.

Hopefully in a few years when successor to PS4S comes, they'll offer the tyre in profile 35. Btw, PSS 305/35 R19 is a tyre used on 2015-2017 GT350 and Camaros also use it. It's a common tyre for Mustangs for the rear.

Btw, if you'd choose profile 30, it's better to go with 325/30 R19 for -3.6% diameter difference instead of -4.7% with 315/30 R19. That way you can use PS4S.

Your car will sit around 10mm lower at the front and around 7mm at the rear with the HP springs installed.

The tyre sizes you have suggested will fit well, my suggestion is 285/35 front and 295/35 rear, to keep the tyres within the body lines (not poking out past the rear guards & front guard extensions).

Speedo will be out (will read slightly under) by around 3kmh at 110 kmh with 295/35 on the rear.

In thinking in 295/35/19 and 305/35/19 both Pilot Super Sport, in this case I'll need the front and rear guards flares.

What do you think?

Regards!

The Pilot Sport 4s 295/35 R19 is made for rims 10-11.5 inch. I have checked this with 3 independent tyre stores here in Aus and the tyre is fine without any compromise, despite the slight stretch.
Here are the details also from Michelins site..

@OZMACH Yes, it works fine on the rims, the slight stretch is due to narrower tread width. The look is just cosmetics but there is functional aspect too. Supposedly that tire is meant specially for 10" rims on Mercedes as mentioned in another topic.
When you check specs on Tirerack.com, tread widths are:
PS4S 295/35 = 9.8"
PS4S 285/35 = 10"
PS4S 275/40 = 10.1"
PSS 305/35 = 10.7"
PS4S 305/30 = 11.1"
PS4S 315/30 = 11.7"
SportContact 6 295/35 = 11.6"

From this you can see that the oem size 275/40 has wider contact area than 295/35 so it kinda beats the purpose of going wider. That's why the tyre looks quite a bit stretched. I don't have any stretch with the PSS 305/35. Even that one could have wider tread width but alas. Too bad you had to walk this road down for us but hopefully there'll be better options in the future.
