VERY LAZY and causes drivability problems.
Maybe that why they encrypt them, lest the truth of their half-assery get smashed across the Internet. If people are copying Lund and their sloppy work, I gotta wonder if they have no shame either? Is the tuning market really so big they can get away with this?

Must be, I mean it does work most of the time. Everytime we hear from someone who is sensitive to stumbles and bogs they (Lund) toss out the "we have thousands of people happy with the tune, it must be your car."

It looks like they are stuck in the 3 valve days. Makes no sense to me.

That's called sheep. We have a lot of tuned Mustangs in my neck of the woods.
And AFAIK only one is tuned by LUND. a 2015 with a ESS kit, and frankly it gets beat up
by another 2015 with a procharger kit & supplied tune.

Palm Beach practically copies Lund tunes so that's definitely one of them.

Well this thread was eye opening and explains the stumbling, sluggishness, and part throttle issues I'm having.

Not to mention the cold start issues that have cropped up again.

I need to find another tuner.
This shit is ridiculous.

This is one reason I don't like Lund tunes. This is how they run the cams at idle and part throttle.

VERY LAZY and causes drivability problems.

I never promised Lund or anyone else I'd never post this. This tune came from a car Lund did not lock.

Dont forget the 70% throttle input to activate the OP table to actually get the cams to move. It is wild. I bet that feels very delayed
For comparison this is mine.

That is exactly what I was told when I provided datalogs of my part throttle driving experience.

My problem was interesting. Because of the surging and bucking, I tried to be very gentle with the gas. But this put me in a scenario where I'd end up in a very high gear for the speed I was traveling, say 5th gear at 30mph. But in order to induce a kick down to the proper gear you have to give it enough gas. But then I'd cause the bucking and surging.

What's really awesome about switching to Wengerd is he mapped my shifter S mode to Sport/Track throttle table when i asked for this. I don't have the drive mode toggles, and Lund refused to give me this simple ask after paying quite a bit of money for extended tune revisions.

This is my experience exactly, the few issues I had, I was told "it must be you, we have lots of happy customers and your tunes been triple vetted" what ever that means! The issues were there from day one and still there now, it's just I had bigger fish to fry with the rest of the car so I focused on those.

To move forward I just accepted that the issues were character of the car now and ignored them. I've improved the handling of the car to a point that I'm happy and the next crease to iron out is the tune.

We all are in the quest for improving our cars, we share that in common, we aren't the people who buy a car and are happy from day one. We are tinkers and modders or hotrodders. By nature we don't settle for it being just good enough.

You have a similar set up to me too, Paxton, 18 manifold, manual, locked imrc.

Im going to reinstall the imrc, and have properly functioning tivct for running boost. Basically look for a better thought out and stock style tune.
