I'm about to place an order for a procharger ho kit. How much more power are you guys seeing with the lund tune vs procharger tune? I have no plans to exceed 9psI on 91 octane.
I can't give you exact numbers on my gains because I did the initial dyno in 4th gear (dyno operator wasn't aware that 5th was 1:1) and the post Lund tune in 5th gear. Regardless, my Procharger canned tune netted me 499rwhp and my Lund tuned resulted in 554rwhp.
I'm told if the initial run would've been done in 5th, my numbers would've been around 520'ish... which puts gains in the 34rwhp range.
Peak-to-peak numbers don't tell the whole story though, the power comes on SUBSTANTIALLY earlier with the Lund tune and RIPS all the way to redline. Looking at my graphs, I can see that torque is prevalent much earlier in the rev range. I'm assuming this is in part a result of Lund adjusting the cam timing and it's noticeable, and FUN.
