because…When did the Procharger kits fall out of favor? I have the HO kit on one of my Mustangs and it was an easy install. Drivability is great and the power after 3500 RPM is a blast.
…of that!looks like the ESS kit is a couple of thousand less than the ProCharger HO Kit.
they all require tuning; be it, canned tune or customYes, I think you're correct. So does the procharger not require aftermarket tuning?
Procharger is a very well established kit that can make a stoopid amount of horsepower. WAY more than any ESS kit.…of that!
Do they ? Interesting. I bet my bottom dollar it's from incorrect installation practices. especially when it comes to adding the crank pulley, not checking the deflection on the slack side of the belt, etc., etc. Too tight of a belt is a guaranteed crank killer.Pro charger is notorious for killing crank snouts that is why the have fallen out of favor.
How many people have posted their broken cranks here that had a Procharger?Pro charger is notorious for killing crank snouts that is why the have fallen out of favor.
Whats your price breakdown on the ess?I might have to check with Beefcake about beating the cost of the ESS. By all accounts so far the ESS seems to be cheaper, but not by that much, but perhaps enough to tilt my decision. I also have to take into account the cost of installation of the kit.
Exactly^^^^....especially when it comes to adding the crank pulley....
Looks like ESS has refurbished G2 kit for $4K and change. Then I have to pay to get it installed, the tune, and I don't know if I need injectors and fuel system. but by my calculations it would end up being close to $7000 all in.Whats your price breakdown on the ess?
