Officially lost all 3 in my engine bay and they are still in there... Somewhere. Is there anything avail aftermarket that is better quality? If not ill just order a dozen. That should hold me for a few seasons.

I ordered a dozen.
I was afraid of that. Or just scrap the cover completely? Not sure if it protects the battery from rain? I'm driving right now with it off.

Several months ago I developed a 'Kit' to address this problem.
(3) Aluminum wing-nuts w/Nylon theads to replace the plastic Factory ones.
I still have a few of these kits left, PM me for more info

I ordered replacements through Amazon. They are certainly not designed to last.

The cover keeps the battery from getting warm from the engine bay heat.

The cover will actually stay in place without the fasteners.

Best way to not lose the fasteners is to don't have butter fingers, and remove them from the cover. Don't leave them loose in the cover while removing the cover.

I knew I was right to skip over buying the other one without waiting! Saved me an extra $5!

I should have looked a little harder. I found 10 on Amazon for 11 bucks.

Heh heh patience is a virtue, I guess
"Save up to $2 / month you wait on delivery!"

I've still got three holding it for now, but they do seem to disappear.
