I got a pack of 10 off Amazon for $12 and they appear to be exactly the same as original, which isn't much of an attraction seeing as original is pretty poor.

(3) Aluminum threaded wing-nuts to replace the plastic Factory ones.
I still have a few of these kits left, PM me for more info

John Vallo is trying to take some of the joy out of being a member of this forum. If we stop losing these fasteners (I swear they are alive and try to escape when handled!), a whole lot of lighthearted repartee will be gone. Not to mention badinage, persiflage, and raillery.

I did that with a Zippo lighter, in the engine compartment of a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda. It was a found-item lighter with the business logo featuring a bull. Insemination specialists. Short of taking off the fender, no way to retrieve it.

Don’t you need a special tool to install those nuts? Don’t they expand like a rivet?
