  2. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Got the dang thing out an drove it today for the first time this year. "Peaceful Easy Feeling" by the Eagles came up on the radio about 2 seconds after I started the car....coincidence? Cheers!
  3. GT 350 OIL CHANGE AFTER SITTING FOR 5 MONTHS

^^^This! I did the very same thing...just reset the oil life monitor. All good!
  4. Things you can do without any risk something might go wrong.

In the spirit of the title of the thread...I seriously can't think of one thing I could do without risking that something might go wrong! But, that was bred into me from my Navy days when we planned ops and looked at all the risks that might be associated with them.
  5. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Woke mine up from a long winter nap! Started right up...now for a cleanin'!
  6. Phoenix PX6 Review...

I'm not sure. I know the PX6 units you and I have are loaded with Android 8.1, but as far as the Sync system - since my '17 had Sync 3 in it when I bought it - I was able to upgrade it to 3.4. There is a Facebook group I just joined called "Tesla Style. Firmware and HeadUnits" - they have a...
  7. Phoenix PX6 Review...

Excellent update Condor! I have been contemplating getting this for my '19 GT350 and have decided against it. I too installed a PX6 in my '17 Ford F350 and have the identical issues you are having. What pisses me off the most is the extreme lack of customer support by the business I purchased...
  8. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Couldn't stand looking at the car any longer sitting in the garage on the battery tender. 62 degrees yesterday with not one cloud in the sky - took it for a long spin.
  9. Honestly, who prefers the GT 5.0 over GT350?

    ^^^THIS^^^...is a perfect reply! Couldn't agree more.
  10. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I would think he should be able to remove it from the existing panel. A little Goo Gone and some fishing line perhaps?
  11. Let’s See Those Trucks!

It is from an F-4 Phantom. I'm sure the panels had been upgraded over the years, so not sure what version of the F-4 this was in, but definitely an F-4. At least that's what a friend of my Dad told me...he was an F-4 pilot in Vietnam and called the plane a "Flying Brick". I found these pics on...
  12. Wing Paint Code

Pretty sure the wing and mirror caps are G1 (Shadow Black). I thought the trunk lid panel was just black plastic, but I'm probably all wrong. There's a lot more folks on here more knowledgeable than I am about paint for these cars. I have a black GT350 and it says G1 on the sticker.
  13. Quickjack and Steeda Jacking Rails Question

I have a Quickjack and Steeda full length rails. When the car was up on the jack the rails extended a bit out of either side. I'll try to find a pic that I took with the car up. Full contact with the platforms on the Quickjack when I don't use the rubber spacers that come with the kit.
  14. What do you do for a living?

Retired U.S. Navy submarines...CDR. Now - Dir. of HR.
  15. Official Tesla-Style Head Unit

Looks like I'm going to go this route for my GT350. I just installed the Phoenix PX6 last night for my 2017 Ford F350 and it works as advertised.
  16. installing battery tenders

Great tips all around! I went the NOCO route and bought pigtails for my GT350 and my car hauler trailer. Both are stored for the winter and these ideas you guys came up with will certainly make keeping the batteries ready to go come spring.
  17. Dyna Beads Wheel Balancer

I HAD (operative word here) Dyna Beads in the wheels for my F350. It took forever to balance out correctly. By the time it did, I swapped them out and went back to a traditional weighted balance. This was MY experience with them...you or others may experience sheer bliss! :like:
  18. Kids first car

My lovely wife and I do not have any kids, so we end up splurging on my buddy's kids...whom I have known since they were newborns. I had an old 2005 Jeep that runs pretty good, so we gave it to the oldest when he graduated high school. He uses it now while he's going to college. His sister is...
