For those with a Mach 1 how did you install the J&L oil separator without letting it sit down on those wires and has anyone found one that connects without touching the wires?

You don't. It's a poor design. Personally I would go with any other product on the market (I had the J&Ls). Poor design, small capacity, and they hang off the plastic PCV. It just feels like a recipe for a stress failure.

This is how I installed my J&L. I removed the one connection your interested in, installed the can, then put the plug back in-place. The plug and wiring rest above the tubing.

The tubing and can are pretty light. Nothing seems to be stressed. I remove the can twice a year to empty.

Some do prefer the Ford Performance can.

Get the Ford Performance ones. They use push pins to attach to the valve covers

Super easy. The instructions can be downloaded from the ford performance website. Just be careful with the pushpins and dropping them. The two pushpins go into small holes/tabs that are on the valve cover.

I saw the instructions. I aftermarket J and L (whatever the name is) and to the point of the previous post about how it sits, I will have to get this one
