I just purchased my 2015 Ecoboost Premium w/ 201A group. Excited to learn about my new Boostang as I'm a muscle car guy at heart and currently own a 68 GT coupe.

Hey everyone. I haven't purchased a new mustang as I'm still on the fence with what I want to get. I'm not a biased towards any brand. I'm here to learn so I can ultimately decide what I want to get.

Good afternoon (Italian time) everybody

My name is Cristian, but all my American friends and Customer call me Cris.

I am a former sales specialist in the Automotive industry, in fact For most of my professional life I built welding system (well I sold them actually) to make automotive frame (FIAT, VW was my most important Customer) but I decided that I had to take a different path: at the beginning of April I left the Automotive world and started to work for a company that make special packaging machine.. and this company made me US Sales Manager.. obviously you cannot manage the biggest market in the world from afar and that means that I will be moving to the US around mid September 2015.

Now, before you ask why I am bothering you all with all that stuff I want to politely ask you to be patient with me and my poor englishfor another couple of minutes:

I was born almost 42 years ago in the Italian Motor valley.. yes, a little piece of land where Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Ducati was born as well, not to mention some other company, like De Tomaso, more recently Pagani and such..

I grew up stalking that kind of cars all over the place (well.. stalking from afar since I have never driven really powerful and fast car.. LOL) now.. growing up with a passion for sport car you cannot ignore Ford, and obviously you cannot ignore the Mustang.. and there we are.. the reason I am here: when I wrote down the budget for the US branch I reserved some USD for a car.. at first I didn’t consider the Mustang.. the idea of an 8V engine and a work car is not common here in Italy.. the premium price of 8V equipped car here is so high that not even the owner of the Company, in most cases, can afford one..

Initially I thought that a Focus ST fully equipped would have been very nice.. and it was in the 30k range of price (no discount taken into consideration since I was just playing with the FORD configurator), then I got my Jeep Renegade, which I really like.. so I decided to get the same car, just different engine, over there.. my boss said to me “get one a little bit bigger in term of size”.. meaning he gave me 40k USD as maximum price for my car.. and guess what? I can buy a 2015 Mustang GT and save him some money.. yes.. when I realized that I laughed so maniacally that my coworker asked me if everything was ok.. and I keep laughing every now and then.. LOL

So, around mid September I will be visiting a FORD dealership in Charlotte (NC) or Hickory (where the office and probably my apartment will be) and buy one of those amazing muscle car..

Great Chris, just get yourself a GT and you will have a permanent smile on your face! Years ago the Pantera Ilalian body car had a Ford V-8 in her...but now it seems the Ford body Mustang will have an Italian in her. Congrats and welcome.

You got just a small taste of what being in America is like! I'm just down the road from where you are going to be.
I will warn you though, shop carefully for an apartment. There are some rough areas in Charlotte that you don't want to be anywhere near.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Matt. 45, I Live in Tampa Fla. I work in the I.T. Field.
I am a long time Mustang fan since my first sighting as a boy with my father at a car show.
Bought my first GT used at 19, for 4k, rebuilt the engine and drove it for 12 years.
Since then I have driven a v6 Pontiac for 6yrs and a 4cyl Acura for 8yrs. I looked at the GT Mustang when buying my Acura in 06 but couldn’t get past the interior for the $.
Now, after waiting for the 15 to come out, I am the owner of a Magnetic GT premium. Ordered Nov 11th surprised and delivered Dec 18th. Unwashed, and still wrapped in the plastic as I requested. Not bad turnaround time either. I was expecting 3 months based on others experiences at the time.
Mods so far
Clear bra and 18% tint within the first week
Removed clutch spring
Redline Hood Struts
MBRP Black Street Cat back Exhaust
Next is suspension. Still on the fence about springs and what type/drop or wait for coilovers.
Anyways, thought it was time to join, and just want to say I appreciate that most here are enthusiast regardless of what you drive. Hope that continues to be the case for years to come.
