I dealt with this for awhile. It finally gave me a p011 code just one time during a stall at a light.
I replaced all 4 VCT solenoids
However I should mention that the battery was disco for a few days during this time.
Great find Galaxy!.. I am having a similar issue that started when I first bled my brakes with the Motive Pressure Bleeder and RBF600.
I wonder if it has anything to do with how gas dissolves into a liquid when it is under pressure much like how beverages are carbonated, but I wouldn't think...
I would suggest getting the front of the car up so you can relive any tension on the suspension, remove both front wheels, check both sides, grab the sway bar and try to move it while watching where the end links are mounted, that's how I found it. However it could be that they are still tight...
The cam covers get loose and leak oil also. May be worth checking.
I had a leak on the Drivers side at the back. Also found that mine were loose on both sides.
And now that i posted that i see you mentioned in your last post.
However I could not trace the oil leak to the covers visually, I...
So I ordered the part from the link in my previous post and it just arrived from Thailand. It looks like it is the right size and is going to work.
The only problem I have is that my car is at the collision center getting repaired, and the broken pieces are in the glove box.
I had...
In the same situation as well here. I had to rotate the zip tie so the nub was facing the switch plunger. A thicker zip tie may work better so as not to have to do that.
i did find something similar on Amazon, but hard to tell if it is the right size...
2015 90k miles.
Not to long I noticed a tick when pulling into my garage after some spirited driving. Was quite loud. Don’t know if it was “the tick” everyone is talking about. Popped the hood could not tell where it was coming from. Shut down to let it cool off. After awhile went back out and...
I cant say if it is the same for a GT350
In Settings. You have to register the OBDlink software first. I think after that it asks to download or install extra features. I don't exactly remember.
After that, In settings, goto "Get Extras", and navigate to find the "Ford Enhanced Diagnostics...
After my first track day at Sebring, in my stock only GT, I was hooked. The first thing that was noticeably needed was improvement to how it handled. Pretty sure this is when I bent my front end-links also.
Nothing but great things to say about all my Steeda suspension upgrades (See Sig)
Last...
Twice. Was the compressor each time. Took it to the dealer I bought it from.
1. Leaking at the compressor around 30k miles, replaced the compressor under Warranty.
2.Compressor clutch froze up the following summer, 1 week past the one year warranty on the part. Stalled the engine when it...
Again Tommy, you are missing the point.
No need to get hostile about it and tell me to stay in bed. It’s used as a selling point and I have seen others make the same mistake and regurgitate the same misinformation.
It may not be important to overall function but those that still trying to...
I agree, there is nothing misleading about what they are used for, your just missing the point. I’m sure mine will function just fine. But it is used as a selling point, why even advertise something that is clearly not true.
So solid mounting the bracket to the seat belt pretentioner bolt means, it does NOT take advantage of the lap belt pretentioner. In the case of an accident that would set this off. It would need to be attached to the cable to accomplish this.
Kinda misleading advertisement. Maybe it’s another...
Sounds can be deceiving. Similar issue for me. I could have sworn it was coming from the right rear suspension, Removed, inspected, and reinstalled. Made sure everything was tight to Spec. Didn't help.
Turned out it was the emergency trunk release on the inside swinging around banging against...
