Jumping forums..

HI! I'm Rick. Long time Mazda owner, one time Ford owner (bought a 97 Escort wagon in 2009 as my winter beater). As gravity takes hold of my bones, its getting harder and harder to lift out of the Miata. I loved the car, its a blast to drive (despite all the "girly car" comments I get bombed with), but its time for a new chapter. With some spark still left in my soul, I need to stay with a sporty convertible under $50K. The Mustang hits the sweet spot. So not liking whats available on the lots options-wise, I ordered a 2016 GT convertible in DIB with Ceramic seats. I just might get it before the snow flies!

Just purchased my 3rd Mustang a 2015 V6 Ruby Red auto aka the daily driver. Planning on cosmetic and intake/exhaust upgrades in the future. A little departure from my previous Mustang, a 2000 GT vert, Vortec supercharged with tons of mods and the sweetest sounding Borla exhaust. So far I'm very happy with it, interior quality obviously light years better and love the new S550 body style. Looking forward to seeing the aftermarket start pumping out tons of new mods for these cars.

Hey all, name is Mike from Portland. My first car every was a dark blue 1998 Mustang that I got when I was 16. I drove that and loved that car until I left for college in 2003. Then my brother inherited it and properly ruined it. Since then I have driven many shit cars, minus a Wrangler that I loved. Was able to sell my Scion Xd for a decent price earlier last month after my awesome fiance agreed that it was time for me to get a good car. I always really wanted a WRX STI. But then I saw a new mustang on the road and after going and test driving one there was no other choice to be made. After haggling over email for a month with a local dealership I went in and ordered a Magnetic GT with PP. Can't wait to get it and once a again be a Mustang owner. Cheers!

Hi all, I'm Jon from the UK, although now living in South East Michigan, having moved here from Australia (...it's complicated). Wanted a Mustang since we moved here in 2012 and finally picking one up next Tuesday! Was a cancelled order so was sitting in the dealers lot and was the exact spec I wanted - manual GT premium with the performance pack in Guard. Since this will be my daily driver, I also got the dealer to swap the tires out for some Continental A/S rubber at their cost. Between the tires and the A-plan pricing I'm stoked, although the monthly payments are still a chunk more than my 2012 Fusion!!

Found this forum a couple of weeks ago while researching the car - lots of great information on here and lots of really knowledgeable people as well.

Hello everyone! I'm John (as if my handle doesn't give that away). I recently purchased my 2nd Mustang.

Previous was a 2012 Mustang GT with a Procharger making 575rwhp. Long story about why this one is gone, but I'm happy with the new one.

New car is a 2015 Mustang GT PP

Hello All,

Name is Hemanth, from Charlotte NC. First of all these forums are super informational and up to date. Was able to get some good tips in other threads for my questions about ordering and delivery timings of the 2015/16s. Feels great to be a part of this.

So why am I here ? Yes I am very much interested to buy the
2.3L Premium / Black ext with RedLine interior / PP / Voice Navigation
Unfortunately no dealer in Charlotte has one with this spec and still hunting for one and that is when was able to get hold of this forum.
Cheers

Hey everyone, Jose here.

Been lurking the forums for a bit but decided to join since I just put in an order for a 2016 ecoboost vert, and now the waiting begins.

Just got my Ruby Red GT last Saturday.

Here is a quick pic, don't plan on any major changes but would like to do some minor upgrades to make the base more like the Premium in some areas. Could not afford the Premium, but hope to locate other members that have done, investigated or want to do some of the same things.

So far I love it overall. Flaps / Chris

EuroMustang prospect here, ordered on May 13th, haven't heard anything back yet. I'm located in Stockholm, Sweden, and am an agreeable IT tech.

My chosen poison is:

- GT
- Manual
- Recaro seats
- Deep Impact Blue

My name is Anthony, I live in northern Harford County Md and I'm new here, but not new to the mustang community. I have an '05 GT with a built stroker motor, Whipple with 10 rib kit, twin disc, built rear and a whole lot of other BS. I did the first auto to manual transmission swap on an '05 (that I know of) back in late '05. I do my own work other than tuning and I just love the new '15 model. Got a good relationship with Justin Burcham and Kevin MacDonald over at JPC...they have been good to me and Kevin and me occasionally hang out. They are good people.

Just last week ordered a '15 Premium GT, magnetic, manual, 401A package with premium paint aluminum 19's. Was going to order a PP, but I don't particularly care for the torsen differentials for a variety of reasons and I'm not sure about 3.73's mated to this slush box. I will miss the brakes though. I figure this car will remain just a weekend driver that can handle rain unlike my '05 which is a fair weather car only.

My plan is to do exhaust, cut the guts out of the upper grille and do my own thing, do some suspension work and a tune. I really don't want to overdo this one so it can remain a driver. Anyway, this seems to be a great...and I mean a great site!

2016 GT PP Ordered!

Hey Everyone! Well, I've been waiting about two-two and a half years now and I've finally pulled the trigger. I ordered the Guard Metallic 2016 GT with Performance Package yesterday. Should be driving her in about 4-5 months. Can't wait!

Good Evening all.

Great forum and has been so informative that it's prompted me to sign up!

Put a deposit down on a RR GT with PP and Ceramic Leather a few weeks ago. I've got a long wait though here in the UK. Next July/August, however that suits my circumstances and should ensure a MY 2016 model and give enough time for Ford to offer more options to the RHD market.

Current drive is a MY 2013 Nissan 370Z Nismo (my second 370). Amore than capable car with relative performance (especially the suspension upgrades, remap and style over stock). Had an interesting read earlier re the comparison with the S550.

So the wait has started, already got my eye on a few mods, exhaust being the first, hopefully have that before delivery.

Looking forward to much Mustang madness and what will certainly be a departure from my current ride.

Regards All.
