Whats up Mustang fam! Longtime lurker here from Alaska. Been on looking through these forums ever since the s550 came out.
Short background about me:
I come from a family that enjoys modding vehicles. I used to own a 1989 Honda Civic Wagovan (FWD version).
The wagon ended up burning oil so we (dad and I) went and replaced the motor. During that time I purchased a 14 Fiesta ST. I miss that car dearly lol. Anyway, got rid of the wagon (wish I hadn't) and drove the fiesta for a while.

Growing up I remember I picked up a Ford brochure showing the s197 in Grabber Blue. Since I laid my eyes on the s197 with that color I told myself that's my dream car.
I remember reading something on autoblog.com (I call it the automotive newspaper) saying that Grabber Blue will be a color option on the s550 for the 2017 model year. I got excited and ended up searching dealerships around me to see if they have any coming in.

Low and behold, the dealership 40 miles away had a Grabber Blue Mustang base gtpp coming. I went ahead and called the dealership and couple days later the salesman sent me pictures of the car.
Went to the dealership couple days after that and I swear he purposely put that car in the sun so that the paint glows. I knew then I had to have it, long story short my irresponsible self bought something that I shouldn't have. Lol. anyways, here's some pics!

As far as mods go, the car has:
- 30% tint all around (5% windshield brow)
- AFE pro dry air filter
- Borla ATAK catback exhaust
- 25mm wheel spacers all around
- Firestone Indy 500 Firehawk tires all around (stock pp tire sizes)
- Eibach pro-kit lowering springs
-Plasti dip 5.0, horse, GT badge

Glad to finally be posting here!

My name is John. I am 76 years old and just purchased a low mileage 2018 Mustang GT A10. It reminds me of the muscle cars I drove in the 60s, early 70s and mid 90s. Almost like coming home! I probably won't drive more than 3k or 4k miles per year. So, I'm guessing it will outlast me.

Hello everyone! New to this forum thank you for the add, I am the new owner of my first Mustang. Was fiddling around on the Ford website and decided to do a build and price on my ideal Mustang. I built a Mustang GT base in velocity blue, the only option I selected was the black accent package. I then clicked on the search local dealers for a similar car and a dealer in my city had the exact car I built. At that point I felt obligated to check it out and ended up driving out in my dream car! I love this car so much already! I would like everyone's opinions of what they think of my choice.

It is absolutely the best car I've ever driven... I can't believe how well this car handles. I've always been more of a Twisties guy than a drag strip guy and this car is amazing... I love how no matter how fast you go it feels like it can do more... This is a true sports car, I've driven as new as a 2012 GT and this is a different animal entirely. I'm so glad I waited for this one...

I bought my first Mustang too, this Spring. I did a DIY blackout package - on an already black car, now I just have a little red dot between the 5 and the 0. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for for love nor money, but I came close after a long search. It was worth it. I love driving in to work, and I really love driving home from work. Flog that thing like you're mad at it.

Good for you John. My dad is 78 and he bought a Honda Civic. He could afford what he wants and loves cars, and picks a base civic sedan. He’s just too cheap. At least it’s a manual, but he did that for cheapness not fun. I’m 43 so the electric orange convertible screams mid life crisis. Lol. Wife and I were cruising earlier with AC/DC blasting on 30. You can imagine the looks. Lol. Let’s see some pics of the new ride. What kinda car were you rockin in the 60s?

Man I love those Magnetics. They just look classy. Have a lot of the “I’m gonna eat you” look too.
