Just joined the site. We have been enjoying our 2018 Race Red 6 speed since August. First 5.0 since 1993, quite a difference!

My first Mustang and only the second new forum I've joined in over a decade. Glad to be here! I picked up this GT PP2 two months ago and have been absolutely hooked. I'm at 3,000 miles already lol.

New to the S550 scene. Thrown into it very quickly after giving a price on my 14 to a guy who snatched right up on it. So I hunted down this car, added the wheels from my 14 to it and here it sits. Its a 17 color UG - White Platinum Tricoat (That's not University of Georgia, UGGA fans). It's a 6R80 setup. Came with the Roush phase 2 727 HP setup. Previous owner added ID 1050X injectors, VMP twin67mm TB, JLT 125mm CAI and had it retuned. No idea what it makes. Don't care. The tune is terrible so I am in the midst of remote tuning with Rob Shoemaker at Palm Beach Dyno (He Mike and Ken B are awesome btw). Unfortunately rain and a laptop failure has set the process back a few days. Will be getting it in to do the WOT pulls on the dyno to complete the WOT tuning 11/6. AS for dyno numbers I may post them but who cares what they are as long as the car hooks and makes a solid pass? That is where it really counts. The car also has an x-pipe and Roush exhaust. I hate it. Too high pitched and raspy for my liking. H-pipes and deep muscle car tone are more to my liking so I am trying to decide if I want to run the AWE cat back system or just go back to the factory midpipe res setup with AWE axle backs. Can't seem to get a straight answer from josh at AWE on which one as he of course favors the higher cost system.

The previous owner never made any mods to the IRS so Kelly at BMR (always the go to guy on suspensions) provided me the recipe for a better hook. Picked up the vert links, lock out kit, and LCA spherical bearings for phase one. Plan on lowering the back with the 1.5" rear drags and the minimal 7/8" front springs. Last if I get serious about going to the track again will be the Viking Drag series shocks and of course Kelly's prescription for max hooking on the rear suspension alignment after all the changes.

That's it for now. Sorry the photos are pathetic driveway shots, but the weather is for crap around here. Feels like I am back in Oak Harbor, WA!

Thanks guys. Now if I can just get the tuning and suspension mods done so I can then get the windows tinted. Then it will be time to consider if I stripe it or not. Just not sure.
