5th Mustang Coming Soon!

I will be ordering an S550 soon...my 5th. I've had an 06 GT, 08 GT, 11 5.0 GT, and an original unrestored 66 Mustang...6 Cyl 3 speed non-sync. Only have the 66 still but its a fun car. Slow, but man, that styling! I own many other makes/models...but I joined to learn more about the upcoming 2015 model as I decide on my options, etc.

Hi. Steve from Glenwood Springs, CO. Originally from Dearborn, my father and two older brothers all worked for Ford, all retired now. First car in high school was a hand-me-down 67 coupe with the no-horsepower 200 six and automatic. Have owned a 68 302 coupe and 67 289 coupe. In 1987 almost bought a 70 Mach 1 w/428CJ and 4-speed ($4000 asking price!), ... but life got in the way. Was this close (think Maxwell Smart) to buying a 1999 Cobra, ... but life got in the way. With no such obstacles today and a truly modern Mustang on tap, the time is right for another.

Mustang 2015 EB, custom pack
hi there guys, I'm new om this forum. I've found Mustang 6G while searching for information on the new 2015 Mustang. Over the years I've owned 3 Mustangs, a blue 1975 Mustang II (bought as a second hand car), 1979 Mustang Cobra 2.3 with turbo(!) and finally a 1996 V6. Actually I drive a Mercedes CLK in full option, 2005 face lift model. Planned for the near future is a Mustang EB premium with all the available options. Hopefully Ford will launch in Europe the same packages as they do in the States.

Hi everybody my name is Peter, I live in New Zealand, some say the best country in the world to live in, some say not. The country of the greatest rugby team in the world the “All Blacks”, I hear they are coming to the USA (Solider Field, Chicago) 1 November this year, go and watch the game you will love the mighty “All Blacks”. I live in the Waikato (Hamilton City) population of 120,000, weather temperature, winter 15 Celsius, summer 27 Celsius.
Mustang, I can finally get my hands on a RHD version of this vehicle, I have waited all my life for this. Current ford car is a 2002 Ford Falcon AU111 TE50 5.6litre V8 auto (the last of the Windsor motor) 250KW, 500Nm, produced 204 and only 90 autos.
I have my name down at the local Ford dealership in Hamilton (1only dealership) for a new mustang, who knows when we will see the RHD version down under and at what price???.
My wish list:
Mustang SVT GT350, don’t think we will get this down under
Mustang GT 5.0Ltr premium auto
I would quite like the PP on the GT but it doesn’t look like any power boost and no auto, also don’t like gloss black wheels, as this will be a Sunday car I only need straight line speed at the lights to drag off all the Holden HSV cars. I think GT without PP will be faster at the lights??? (Less weight).
My Mustang:
Mustang 5.0 Ltr V8 fastback premium P8C
6 speed auto 443
Equipment group 401A
Magnetic Metallic J7
Dark Saddle Leather 43
19 x 8.5 premium painted aluminum wheels 648
Enhanced security package 43S
Reverse park assist 77R
Navigation system 91N
Spoiler delete 13D
Spare wheel and tire 66W
All weather floor mats 12A
Front License Bracket
Price estimation for this car in New Zealand Dollars will be some were around $77,500, yes I know you are all thinking very expensive, you can blame the exchange rate and government tax (GST) (grab snatch and take)15% and Ford Stealer margin, things are expensive in New Zealand, current cars purchased new:
2009 Landrover Freelander 2 $65,000
2005 Lexus GS300 $105,000
I suppose this is the price you pay to live in a country with small population, clean green and free.
This is a fantastic website where you can get all information on the new Mustang, I would just like to thank everyone for all the post and information, please keep up the great work!!

Cheers

Yes I am a great Ford fan, with the halo Ford Falcon GT disappearing after the GT-F we have to turn to the Mustang for our halo car.
Price points for new cars:
Ford falcon GT-F expected price $115,000
Mustang 5.0Ltr V8 auto expected price $77,500 in my opinion better car and much cheaper than GT-F
BMW M5 $210,000
Jaguar XK Coupe $175,000
Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe $169,000
You can see my problem.

Cheers

Ford falcon GT-F is an interesting car. I really don't know much about that car. Personally think the mustang v8 is a great choice :) I see the issues your running into. Your in Ferrari and high end Porsche Pricing Now!:headbonk:

Not_sure here, I am a proud owner of a 2005 Mustang GT. The car has a Intake and exhaust. I've fallen head over heals for this car and was looking to upgrade. The 2015 s550 seemed to fit the bill nicely as far as upgrades go. :headbang:

Holding out for the GT350 :ford::hail:

I have to ask, is your forum username derived from the movie Idiocracy? Either way, hilarious!

Hi guys, great site.

My name is Will and I'm from Australia.

I currently drive a 2012 Focus ST, but am very keen on the Mustang and will most likely replace the ST with one depending on price and the spec level we get.

I know it's not a config that's available, buy my ideal spec would be as follows:

GT Premium or Ecoboost Premium fastback - manual
Magnetic
Performance Pack
Lip spoiler
20" Wheels
MFT

Anyway, it's all one big waiting game for us, we aren't getting the Stang until late next year.

Cheers.
