Art. Welcome back to mustang ownership. If your gt is stock dont let it go long without a pedalmax or other throttle device. Really makes driving the gt much more fun.
Any recommendations on who to buy it from? I'll order it now.

There's an occasional used or new one here on M6g in the classifieds for $150-$200 but will not have warranty. I got mine new from LMR while they were running a discount sale. Paid about $265 for it brand new with warranty.

Excellent choice! My wife and I struggled between the red and blue color. We ended up with blue because that's what was on the lot.
I really like both colors, and like you this is what they had on the lot. :)

Howdy! I am lame and don't currently own a mustang. I once owned a 2008 GT, and I miss her very much. The good news is that I will be ordering a 2018 when possible.
Anyway, I am a senior engineer in the automotive industry, and I specialize in diesel fuel systems. I hope to learn a bit about the 6th gen stang on here, and I plan to share plenty of pictures when I finally have my 2018. Cheers!

Hey! Just picked up a loaded '15 Guard GT PP and am loving every minute of it!

I've owned a Corvette and WS6 in the past and had several friends who had earlier generations of Mustangs which I didn't necessarily care for for a variety of reasons. However, Ford really stepped up their game on this generation. As soon as I saw the Guard color the first time I was sold!

New guy here. Long time Mustang lover - always loved them and had a few over the years. Looking to get a '18 GT next year. Always been a Ford guy.

Growing up, Mom had a 78 Mustang II with the 2.8L V6 and a 4 speed. It was poop brown but probably the first car I remember (I was 3).

When I got my license I picked up an 86 LX with the 2.3L 4 and a 4 speed (likely the same trans as the 78). Started out as baby blue but was returned to its original silver color. Put 175k on that car and it was a great car.

Got out of college and picked up a 97 Cobra. It was a good car but life moves on and after a house and dog, ended up in an Explorer....

Can't wait to get a '18 GT - waiting for the spring, as being in the Northeast I'm not buying a new car only for it to sit for 3-4 months.

Glad to be on board and converse with you all.
