I wouldn't say I "loved" the V6. I itched for something faster, but could never afford it. Military pay wasn't great. Then college life. Thankfully I had a few buddies with faster Mustangs.

Certainly loved never having an issue in the 11 years of owning it. Aftermarket kits and a couple of components kept me busy. I'd rather avoid all of that aftermarket stuff this time and just get something that looks sick and is capable of flying.

That said, before a week ago I had my eyes set on a P85D Tesla Model S. Mmm, that 2.8s 0-60.

Hey everybody, I just picked her up today. Drove two states over to grab it, because this is exactly what I was going to order. Ruby Red 2016 with PP and Recaros. Just traded in my 2008 Mazdaspeed3, and WOW I am loving the v8 already. Anyways...here are some pics. Hope to be able to learn and contribute!

50 year tribute to my first car

My first car was a '65 coupe with a 289, 3 speed manual, bench seat. I restored it to resemble a Shelby and drove it's wheels off for 10 years. I met my wife in this car and started the next chapter of life. I eventually sold it and moved onto other interests.

I've had the itch to get a '15 and make a tribute to my first car for a while. A smoking deal came across Ebay and wha-la! Scored a '15 in Guard Green, with the performance package, Borla cat back exhaust, JLT CAI, tune, lowered 1.5 inches with Eibach springs, Roush spoiler, ceramic leather, shaker sound, nav, heated/cooled seats, 6 - speed. The car only had 2300 miles on it. I picked it up for a steal at $35k.

All it needed was the white stripes turn into a tribute to my original '65. I gotta say it's pretty sweet to Bluetooth some high school music and cruise around in a loud fast car again.

Hey everybody, I'm Frank currently stationed in Germany. My wife and I just picked up our TWO Mustangs. Mine is a 2015 black GT /w Perfomance Package and Recaro interior. Hers is a 2016 race red V6 convertible. These are our first Mustangs and they are awesome! I've already done a few mods but you know how that goes...now only if I can convince the wifey it's not my fault, it's an addiction
