On a serious note, you had inner tire wear on 7k miles with the MPSS? That's interesting...would expect that on 20K+

I had a ‘13 GT500 that did the same with stock alignment of -1.0 The camber couldn’t be adjusted w/o plates. I suspect the 350 is the same so on the street it will wear the inner tire

I'm not all that impressed that the inner edge corded. My alignment isn't at all aggressive. Oh well.

My PSS are showing the same inner edge wear, but they have ~10k miles.

Depends on the track. I was on pace for that after my outing at VIR. I went to NYST and shredded them in 6 20 minute sessions :( Outside shoulder has some life left which is why I'm surprised the insides died. Odd that the grooves on the inner shoulder are at cord height.

I'm not easy on equipment. If you're not pushing the car 10/10ths you won't have to worry about it.

Good to know. I won’t be 10/10ths, yet. First track weekend ever so, despite my ego, I’ll be happy if by Sunday I’m running just a bit harder than this guy:

I ran 5k street miles and 10 track days on my OEM MPSS. If you’re running -1.7 front camber, 33 PSI hot, and focus on being smoother vs. aggressive, you’ll get plenty of life out them. Just don’t overdrive the car and watch your tire pressures.

Each type of track has own alignment settings that work. I monitor and maintain my tire pressures and also monitor tire temps. Adjust toe and camber as needed. There is no magic setting for all tracks that works 100% of the time. A lot of folks go bonkers on negative camber, but more maneuvering traction equates to less tire life. I don't believe seeing cords in a tire is normal or ok especially at the level of driving and skills us commoners possess. Get a proper alignment snd save your tires for another track day.

Need some advise please...did 4 sessions of 30 mins with -2.5 camber with these SC2's.
Would you think I can do another track day with them ? This is the left front tire and by far the worst. Thanks for the advise.

If the next track is predominantly right hand corners run that on the right front.
