Sounds about like what mine did. Does it only do it while turning? I assume you've jacked the car up and checked for bearing freeplay and/or rotational noises in the bearing?
Yeah, not having Toledo makes any sort of testing kinda useless :(
Agreed on the GT being too soft. Needs too much front bar to keep it from flopping all over than you just have push and on the Magneride cars they bandaided that with shock tuning which can only do so much.

Tony is really f'ing fast, as FS discovered this year...
Maybe time to start playing with bumpstops in FS to try and get the S550 to turn? Either less front bumpstop or more rear...

Autocross fun yesterday. Ran my street wheels/tires (R-spec 6GR wheels with Hankook RS4s) so I ran CAM-C class instead of AS.
Shared the car with a friend of mine:
NYST is the easiest track to "fall off" that I've driven. Sounds like you went off in a pretty safe place too!
Raybestos ST43. They're pretty darn good, no idea how you'd overheat them and the wear is phenomenal. They're noisy and supposedly the dust is corrosive, I just clean the wheels after...
