  1. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

Love following this thread. Keep it up dude
  2. Clicking coming from front wheels (I think) when I turn

Sounds about like what mine did. Does it only do it while turning? I assume you've jacked the car up and checked for bearing freeplay and/or rotational noises in the bearing?
  3. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

My GT350 started at -1.2 and ended up at like -1.8... -2.3 would have been awesome. Possible it's just an optimistic rack calibration thing too.
  4. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Yeah, not having Toledo makes any sort of testing kinda useless :( Agreed on the GT being too soft. Needs too much front bar to keep it from flopping all over than you just have push and on the Magneride cars they bandaided that with shock tuning which can only do so much.
  5. Clicking coming from front wheels (I think) when I turn

I tracked mine with the noise. It's not a big deal. Make sure your lugs are torqued properly (150 ft-lbs +/- 15 as mentioned above) and you'll be fine
  6. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Well, that's an option if I still owned a Mustang :P I'm friends with a lot of the FS BMW folks though, lots of talk about Yokohamas but when I did side by side videos of Tony vs other folks he was just flat out driving better. Tony, Ido, and some others are planning to do an FS car test if they...
  7. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Tony is really f'ing fast, as FS discovered this year... Maybe time to start playing with bumpstops in FS to try and get the S550 to turn? Either less front bumpstop or more rear...
  8. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Interesting, my BMR bar purchased in '17 had the grease fittings and I had zero issues, even re-greased them once (though I did the teflon tape trick and had no noise anyway)
  9. SCCA Autox: GT350 to B Street This Year?

Rest easy, it's official. IMO the GT350 should have been in BS based on pace, but I understand why it was buried in AS.
  10. 17 GT350 Recommended Road Course Alignment (Possible without CC Plates?)

Whoever you talked to was dead wrong.
  11. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Yup! May as well part it out now.
  12. Preview: Diode Dynamics LED Turn Signal Housings!

Mine have been flawless so far and I was very skeptical after some issues with other DD products. Definitely a satisfied customer!
  13. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I think the battery shield on the GT350 does a decent job of keeping that compartment cooler than engine bay heat, but I would definitely recommend adding the reflective heat tape to the shield to minimize heat transfer when using a smaller battery.
  14. Personal Videos Thread

Cold RS4s have approximately zero grip :)
  15. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Autocross fun yesterday. Ran my street wheels/tires (R-spec 6GR wheels with Hankook RS4s) so I ran CAM-C class instead of AS. Shared the car with a friend of mine:
  16. Rexpelagi's Not Daily Driven CAM-C / USCA Transmission Slayer!

Sorry to see the story of why your car was on a trailer from when I arrived... Bridgestones better than BFGs at Lincoln? hmmm
  17. Personal Videos Thread

Dropped a buddy of mine into my car for an event. He did pretty well for "taking it easy" :)
  18. Personal Videos Thread

They work fine on the street too, they're just dusty. I discovered that they work great even in below freezing temps...
  19. Personal Videos Thread

NYST is the easiest track to "fall off" that I've driven. Sounds like you went off in a pretty safe place too! Raybestos ST43. They're pretty darn good, no idea how you'd overheat them and the wear is phenomenal. They're noisy and supposedly the dust is corrosive, I just clean the wheels after...
