thanks
as I understand your post, the 12v pin moves from pin 1 to 4 and the ground pin moves from 3 To 2, does that mean pin 3 is now the brake sensor?
Hi
I got an oddball question. Does anybody know if Ford switched the brake pedal voltage in the 2018 and newer mustangs? I am trying to install Auto-Blip on my 2018 GT350 And I am having an issue with it. I am speaking with them via Email and he thinks Ford may have increased the voltage...
about a month yes. Probably would have been 3 weeks if the gasket set was in stock. Motor was at the dealer 2+ weeks ago. A little delay picking it up since the weather got bad and the tech didn’t want to take it out for a test run until the roads were clear and dry
Just got my 350 back from the dealer. Turns out the oil pump gear broke apRt. Spread metal all throughout the engine. New motor in it now. time to break it in !!!
Well said Tom.
I have an ‘18 that is getting a new engine as we speak (Under warranty). I am not at all concerned about having a non-nimbers matching 350. I have it to enjoy it now
And just a point of fact, Ford made too many of these cars to actually be considered rare. Their values will...
I am a lucky one. Stock motor. 15k miles. Ford is replacing my engine under warranty But it took awhile for approval. They were looking to see if it was modded
it turned out to be the oil pump failed
i hope it was fixed properly but I would have the same reservations you do. Not a fan of them tearing the engine apart to replace parts that should never have failed.
Sorry about that - I didn’t see that prior thread !
I’ll let you know what mine pulls When I get it back. I am getting a 2020 replacement motor installed by Ford
I thought I read an article or post recently from someone who had stats showing that the Gen 2 Voodoo motrs were pushing out more horsepower than the Gen 1’s. I recall seeing the HP to the wheels on the Gen1’s at around 467 on avg and the Gen2’s at 490+ HP on average
Any truth to this ?
I am hoping my situation is like yours. When I spoke to the service mgr, I said, so we’re looking at a month. He said no no no. Much less time than that. So I am hopeful
I just got an update this morning.
The dealer took 3 days to determine it wasn’t from the oil pan replacement but that the oil pump ‘broke’. i am Assuming the gear stripped. The service manager said Ford engineers said the oil pumps are a known issue. They’ve been working with Ford to...
It is an ‘18 with 15,000 miles on it. Motor is stock. No issues until the oil pan had to be replaced for a leak. 70 miles later - no oil pressure.

Hey
I am interested in finding out how long it takes from the time it is determined that your motor had to be replaced by Ford under warranty until it gets installed and you got your car back
Looking forward to hearing from everyone
thanks
Jack
I got an text message from the dealer last evening, said “spoke with the technician they are still checking the car hopefully have an update soon.”
First, I appreciate the communication however, my buddy, the SVT mech said they should have been able to diagnose it with a camera in an hour or...
Thanks for the best wishes
Right now it is at the dealer. Waiting on them to give me the diagnosis. My buddy, the SVT Mechanic, says they need to pull the motor and tear it apart to assess the extent of damage and cause. Right now my only worry is that I’ll end up battling them because...
Update - I picked my 350 up on 12/15 with the new oil pan installed. Took two weeks due to the pans being back ordered. No issue. I get it. Plus its winter I don’t drive it much in the cold.
Since then, I drove the car sparingly - 70 miles in total. this week I dropped it off at a...
